Hey Alex!
I do think it is kinda trendy right now to wear socks and slides. Especially in street style and athleisure. Foam runners, burn slides, Yeezy slides, even H&M and urban have replicated slide styles in store. It-s definitely just a trend but sometimes following trends is good in the right timeframe
