Changes scene in the first 10 minutes.
Missions have blue M icons.
Challenges are marked on the map.
Select cars trying to kill the player outside of an event.
Stages are all connected together.
The final fight is just a normal stage.
Other playable characters do not seem to exist.
Car names are located in the bottom-right.
The exotic fruit cutscene runs much slower and with less frames.
Talking to the Shopkeeper cutscene uses much different graphics.
Wanted level starts at 2 instead of 1 and decreases faster.

I've been a fan of blank since I first heard of retro city rampage and I loved that game! took me only 7 hours to beat the story and I cherished every minute of it. when I first heard of Shakedown: Hawaii and watched this video (hoping there were no spoilers) I just knew I had to buy it. This game looks 10 times better than RCR and I didn't think it was possible.

MIYAMOTO: -I don't get it. This looks like the original Grand Theft Auto from 1997, except with a slightly worse camera and without the mild 3D effects. -
DEVELOPER: -Ah, but did the original Grand Theft Auto have a badass 80s-retro synth soundtrack? -
MIYAMOTO: -. Maybe? It was like twenty years ago, so I don't remember it too clearly. -

Retro City Rampage was a fun little thing but it's the only game I've played where I feel the graphics let it down. Too many times I just didn't know what was going on in my screen. I hope the same thing doesn't happen here.

I can only imagine how it would have been to have this on snes back in the 90's
And the soundtrack is so awesome it definitly sounds like 80's and early 90's
I cant wait to play this masterpiece

Hopefully there's plenty of secrets to discover like there was in the original GTA games, loved finding hidden vehicles that triggered optional missions in those games.

Funny. I-m playing RCR right now while watching and as I see the gameplay and systems I though this behaves exactly like RCR. Then discover it-s the successor. Cool.

GTA Hawaii: Neo Switch Advance Edition.
Looks fun. A bit more pixelated for a 16-bit look than i'd like (this could easily pass as a GBA game. Great soundtrack.

SNES who? You would need a PS2 at least to move so much staff on screen at once. Almost everything is moving, trees destroyed, fences, people, cars, explosions etc.

Seeing this makes me want to give Retro City Rampage another shot. I got it as part of an Indie bundle Nintendo did with Humble Bundle, but I never finished it.

I thought the first one was a decent game and I played it for about 30 hours, but I-m not that excited for a sequel. I-m not really wanting a sequel.

This looks soooo good. Holding back on getting Retro and just waiting for this. Never did care for 8bit, was before my time. I'm a 16bit man: )

I hope there's a DOS port like retro city rampage 486. it'll take like three or four floppy disks instead of one, but it's totally doable.

I love how you guys managed to show this game off and sell it really well for 25 minutes whilst only ever seeming to play one actual mission

I hope we can play as another character besides this grey haired old guy who somehow looks like he's balding and has a pompadour.

Hopefully this one's world will feel more expansive than RCR. I want to re-feel that GTA 2 man. Come on just one more time.

Umm, anyone else notice how theres only 15 weapons at 2: 32? This is a huge downgrade to RCR, Im still hyped either way.

This is like what Retro City Rampage was for Grand Theft Auto: III? I wish you'd play as Tommy Vercetti on this one.

It says P1 over the players head! This surely must imply that multiplayer is coming eventually.
