Hellfire was absolutely, without even a doubt, the hardest Disney song ever made. Where the other songs had a sort of magical fantasy to their lyrics, Hellfire decided to go an entirely different direction, and cranked up the dark, twisted mind of Frolo to 15. And you were right, it's something that creeped me out as a kid, but almost 3 decades later, I truly grasp what was going on in that man's mind, and it makes the entire piece like 15x scarier. Still, it's one of the things that make the Hunchback of Notre Dame a chilling masterpiece.

I really think the list title doesn't match the finale. DID NOT HAVE TO GO THAT HARD. Top 2 have to be i2i and anything from the tarzan soundtrack + hercules (those songs were so unexpected and GREAT) they didn't have to go that hard. Circle of Life for Disney HAD TO GO HARD it was a premier film at the time. It's like saying they didn't have to the darth vaders themesong go that hard, really?

i would skip most of the songs on this list when I think of a Disney songs that Didn't Have to Go THAT Hard they aren't the theatrical Disney sounding tracks like most of the picks here but the songs that you can listen to without ever seeing the movie and start asking yourself what movie did this come from i also would pick a different song from a lot of the movies you picked

I totally understand the 2 Hercules tunes but you missed out on a banger. Go the distance is the best song in the entire film and you put them 2 above it, disappointing. The whole trombone part in the last 30 seconds or so of that song is the most incredible ever. That one part sends shivers down my spine every time I listen to it. Hands down best Disney song.

I cry every time i hear a girl worth fighting for when they find that doll and realize they found a girl worth fighting for. Just seeing them want vengeance for the innocent life lost and the ruthless killing of women and children purely to pillage. So powerful. Thats clearly the best Disney song ever made IMO

Thanks for the list, but it would have been amazing if you didn't just mentioned the roles / films and just the famous artists ( e. g. Phil Collins, Robin Williams) but also the amazing performers giving their best never to be seen on screen.

Not gonna lie, Frollo is one of the best Disney villains ever because he is the most human. The way he justifies his actions and truly believes he did nothing wrong is what makes him so terrifying. I love hunchback with my WHOLE heart

My personal favourite, although technically Pixar, and also technically not made for the film, is Life is a Highway. That song brings me nostalgia every time i hear it. Am a big fan of the slightjy heavier pop rock style.

One thing that's kinda cool about Phil Collins in Tarzan, is that he speaks French, Spanish, Italian, and German, and also sung those versions of the soundtrack. I think he did the same for Brother Bear.
