Luz is definitely my favorite part of the series, thought to be fair she only shines through so well because of other characters like Eda, Amity, King etc. She's both a representation and deconstruction, of the typical fantasy protagonist. She is sweet, optimistic, and outcast who finds her place in a world of magic. But she also get's called on her recklessness, and that she sometime forgets that life, even that in the Bowling Isles does not necessarily conform to typical fantasy tropes. But while she matures, she never looses her core character traits that make her so great.

Just found this show a little late. I started watching it after having watched all of Gravity Falls and needing something to fill the hole in my life. This fits the bill. Luz is a type of character I've always longed to see but have found far too rarely: the Girl Nerd. My inner twelve-year-old feels seen every time she gushes over the Azura book series.
It's also a delight to hear Alex Hirsch's voicework again. I love that he gives Hooty essentially the same voice he gave Celestebellabethabelle in The Last Mabelcorn (Gravity Falls.

The Owl House is Disney's best show yet! All the moments are the best, but the Lumity (10: 41) is the light (or Luz in Spanish, like the character) in my heart!
I hope that, even though a 4th season is not happening, there may be a possibility that might change the studio's minds and have this show stick around for more until we say we're ready for the proper end. And that is something we can wish upon a star. Until then, we have to be ready for the sudden conclusion. At least, the show will make its mark in Disney history.

Either way, this show is a masterpiece. The show we didn't thought that we need. I thank Dana and the crew for this because let's say this show is the reason why my gf and I become closer until we become together. Because we are gay and we like shows like these.

The owl house is one of the best cartoons of its time. It's on Disney +. This animation contains; life lessons, great comedy, fantastic fight scenes, character development (actual emotional and mental growth, fantastic take on love stories and Diversity. Excellent LGBTQ + representation. Definitely a must binge for multiple age groups

Did you touch on Ida's hypocrisy in one episode? As if they say in chapter 1 how much being different is not bad but going to jail all different in the other world, the message is that it's okay to be different. But if it's so okay to be different why did Ida tell Luz that they expelled giraffes because they are colored? !! !

I'm watching this now and look back to how innocent the show was. It was really innocent, Luz literally just wanted to learn magic and/or escape the human realm so that she can be herself, season 2, it dropped that, and she's actually traumatized, scarred, and fighting for her and her loved one's lives

TOH is the best Disney show even though it was cancelled and had only 3 episodes im season three. The story, the animations, the mysteries. and even after the main story, there is a whole story to imagine or animate of The Witebane brothers.

My favorite thing about the owl house? The perfrct balance of whimsical fantasy world with morbid elements that creates a wonderfully comedic show.
And as a weird nerd growing up, this is a show I could've used when I was a kid.

I don't think the first fact should be an actual argument. I mean it is really cool, but I don't want this to be like: hey look, a lgbt charachter, this is awesome! Lgbt peoples are just. normal.

I love the characters which I can relate to Luz due to her personality & Amity due to gay panic moments, a message about being your weird and yet creative self, the voice acting, and its LGBTQ+ representation.

I wont say, go watch it, its better then everything but I think this show is just a great way to show even younger children, that being a part of the LGBTQ+ Community is right, or just to accept it!
