As much as Luke was problematic, I do think for Hannah to go on the show and sleep with multiple contestants can be seen as disrespectful to whoever shed be picking as a HUSBAND. This goes both ways (Im looking at you Peter. Youre on there to find love and unless youve already decided that the person youre being intimate with is the one you feel like youre going to pick in the end, I say its just a bad idea. Causes all sorts of problems and isnt really fair to whoever you pick in the end unless you have a mutual understanding by everyone that that is what youre going to be doing and theyre okay with it

Yeah most feminist moments on the show where women are volunteering to compete with each other and act like children for the affections of a man.
A show, mind you, where literary the whole premise is for rich and attractive men/women to find love by messing around with multiple people at a time and judge them on superficially crap.

So a man project catwalk strut naked that's ok but when a woman is a naked bungee jump that's wrong I don't understand that men to walk around the streets naked and nobody says anything men to wear what they like and don't get called out for it for when a woman doesn't she gets called derogatory and degrading names
reply

I agree Demis relationship on paradise was unprecedented Im the best of ways, but the way demo handled it was really shitty to derek. She lied and it caused a lot of hurt. Really not cool what she did, but I am glad her relationship was featured on the show as I feel it was an important step forward
reply

Ok Ill disagree on Kristen. The issue wasnt that she slept with him early in the relationship, the issue was that it wasnt really fair on the other guys. I dont like when the bachelors do it either. Also Caelynn wasnt my fave but my god she was damn courageous to tell her story.

And to add that man like Luke P exists in and out of a religious circle. In where insecured men are fully against when women, especially those that they are pressuing or in relationship, to show skin but when they cheat or surf the internet those are the girls they look for.

Loved #1 I remember that season and loved how she told him off. And can't wait to see Claire's season. Of course I expect drama, I wouldn't watch the show if I didn't. But feel like she at least is in it for the right reason.

I dont know if I would call some of these feminist moments overall the franchise was built on misogyny and racism so how feminist can you get. How many years did it take to get bachelorette that was not white?
reply

Luke P is toxic and controlling but. I thought hannah b was a born again Christian so I was a bit confused by her actions. But yes its her body and she can do whatever she wants with it. Just confused.
reply

I love this show but sometimes Im just like a little diversity wouldnt kill the show and out of all the bachelor and bachelorette you have one black bachelorette come on do better
reply

I hate both 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette'. Its terrible to have self respecting men and women degrading themselves for television. Both should be canceled.
reply

Becca sitting with all of the girls always puts a smile on my face! I love to see actual friendships come out of this show instead of petty drama
reply

Tyler C was already physically attractive- but him standing up for her made me like him so much more than his looks could've ever made me feel
reply

So many ppl will go for the dude that didn't want Hannah bungee jumping just b/c he's pretty & will dismiss a decent dude.
reply

the entire show is about a group of women fighting for the approval of one man.

reply

Optimist: The glass is half full.
Pessimist: The glass is half empty.
Feminist: The glass is raping me.

reply

If a women tell you to not spread your legs to far.
Tell her that I can do what ever I do with my body

reply

Get your facts right. Clare is not going to be the oldest lead on the series. Byron was 40 when he filmed
