You are so off base with your analysis that I wonder what your real motive is here. Because abuse and trafficking are two very different things. Abuse is usually familial, yes that's a given. But if they were to actually try and tell the real story of this 'industry' they would have to tell you the 'demonic' value chain that has been set up. It would be just too much of a horror show for most people to handle and most people would need therapy if you were to draw out the SRA, snuff, organ/tissue harvesting income streams tagged onto the end-of-life cycle of too many of the victims. It's just way too heavy.

Are you KIDDING ME! EVERY based on a true story movie takes liberties in order to move the story along. Multiple people are condensed into one character, actual dialog, and situations are altered again to move the story along.
Trust the GOVERNMENT instead! Like the 85 THOUSAND children the U. S. lost at the border? I'd rather support private organizations that actually help the cause not contribute to the problem.

I can't believe how many time they contradicted themselves they said that Buchanan didn't human traffic, but he was arrested trafficking a kid across the border. Also the said most victims aren't children, which may be true but then a few moments later they talk about how most victims are younger. It is very hard to view the credibility of your argument if you can't keep your points straight.

Anyone with a shred of decency sees that twisting this to be anything other than bringing awareness is the most important. The single fact that a single person is trafficked is worthy of being talked about. Simply dishonest work here running cover for Hollywood.

As far historical accuracy and validity is concerned I still applaud this movie for depicting and showing human trafficking and child trafficking which is serious and horrible issues that is always underreported

Fabrications is kind of extreme, the movies focus on whatever they want to focus on. This is not the first movie to embellish facts, but is the first one I see they depict as fabricating stuff
