Harry Potter Fan Theories That Change Absolutely Everything
video description
Hear me. Its a brand new theory.
If you see my email, it has phoenix in it. I chose this because of a reason.
When I was thinking about harry potter and the chamber of secrets, I always wondered how the phoenix came to harry's help in the chamber?
Or how come Dumbledore knows exactly what harry does? Every time?
Then I started to think this way. What if harry is not alone? What if the books are not third person view? What if books are actually first person view? Is there someone telling the story of harry potter?
Sometimes a first person view book is about someone else other than character telling it. Like Sherlock Holmes. Watson is the one telling the story, but its about Sherlock. Which kinda makes it actually a third person view book, which the third person is simply Watson!
What if harry potter is like that too?
I belive harry potter is like that. And that third person is actually Dumbledore's phoenix. Dumbledore does a lot of stuff. Apparantly alone. But later we see he actually gets a lot of help. Specially from his buddy, the phoenix. We see in his battle with Voldemort in 5th book, the phoenix comes and helps. And in many other ocasions. What if the phoenix is more than just a bird? Maybe he is like Sirius, a person who can turn into the bird, a friend of Dumbledore, who is always with him, and helps him in many ways. And one way is spying on harry potter!
If we belive he can turn in to phoenix, we may can even belive he can make himself invisible. Dumbledore mentions another stealth options other than the invisibility cloak, so it's possible. Dumbledore asked his friend to spy on harry, and maybe help him every once in a while. And he/she did that. Later the phoenix wrote the story of harry potter!
If you take a close look on harry potter, and everytime there is an unknown help coming, you can notice in one way or another, you can connect it to the phoenix.
I use to fantasize more and believe the phoenix can read mind too, or he turned himself 11 like harry when he entered Hogwarts, and was like his classmate too, but even if you dont, you can still just accept his/her presence beside harry. And maybe see his/her help more, not only for harry, but for others too. Why we have order of phoenix. What's so mysterious about this bird in harry potter?

Second, Ingore Everything about after Book 7. Exception here only Quidditch through the Ages and the ORIGINAL Fantastic Beast book. Because its simple a Fackt, that everything after is simple only Money Franchise. Even the last Potter Movies where only Based on, and they had Extreme Story Mistakes inside. --- To your Hocruxe part! Dursleys! its Fackt, that Dudley was the Family Honey. The beloved ones. Harry against was the Black sheep the thought Bastart born from unnormals. The Dursleys hated EVERYTHING in was of Magic and in this way Harry too! The Only thing, what Harry Recieved from Riddle was the Scar and his Ability to Speak Parsel. Nothing else! That way. already 2 Points in this Movie junked. --- Then, extreme much is taken out of something what was simple maded up do keep Franchise Alife. Does anyone thought, that Universal and Warner whould spend out Billions of Dollars ( Theme Park Areas, Exhibitions. ) if they whould have known, that after the Original Books nothing whould come anymore? Deffinetly not. In this way, even Rowling herself gave up her own core rules! What was about Only British Cast. the closest Movies to the Books where still Potter 1-3. And then End of Story. All rest is finally only a Best of, Based on. Nothing Else. -- And the last Magical Beasts i mean not the just premiered one, the one before, was simple a nightmare! Its was a Hollywood High Glossy Production, what had more or less nothing anymore to do with Potter at all. Not even really with that magical world. --- But its simple the Money, what have to be keeped running.

1. Muggles can easily fight back. Wands are nice, yes, but guns are potentially stronger. Not to mention we've never seen a nuke dropped onto spells before. Also, for the whole telling the prime minister stuff, they are required to let them know when they are bringing dangerous stuff in. Look at how Fudge told him. oh hey, we're also importing a few dragons and a sphinx. He didn't ask him if he could, he told him he was.
2. Wait. was this whole thing just for the Nagini part at the end? Either way, he talks to Nagini still, so she's still there.
3. McGonagal watched the Dursley's before Harry was dropped off. she said they were the worst sort of muggles ever. So, Harry had nothing to do with that.
The Snape one actually makes sense, because the position truly is cursed as pointed out it went away after Tom died. Since Dumbledore knew he'd be dying soon, he gave it to Snape.

Rita Skeeter is quite possibly Luna Lovegood's mother. She is a journalist by profession, like Xenophilius Lovegood. Rita Skeeter and the Lovegoods all have the same platinum blonde hair, which could mean that they are some sort of blonde equivalent of the Weasley family. Perhaps they had a bad divorce when Luna was very young and they befuddled her memory of what really happened. Or It was part of some arrangement that Rita had to make when she took a job at the Ministry of Magic.
The only other wizarding family mentioned in the books with platinum blonde hair are the Malfoys, and they are likely some sort of relatives of the Lovegoods. Malfoy means bad faith while love-good is sort of the antithesis of bad faith.

If the part of Tom in Harry affects people who spend any significant amount time around him, then shouldn't Ron and Hermione be affected too? There's no excuse for the Dursley's behaviour other than their (irrational) fear of the unknown. Also, Rita Skeeter was such a despicable character because Jo Rowling had a certain amount of dislike towards press in general. She portrayed the tactics press people resort to, to make their stories more interesting. And the part about Snape being denied Defence prof position and him killing Dumbledore may have balanced each other out against the curse, hmm. I've always felt that while she is portrayed as a bumbling drunk, Trelawney was pretty good at predicting, even offhandedly.

I don't believe JKR actually thought up a horrifying process for making a Horcrux, and I think she's just making up the story of her publisher looking horrified after she explained it. This story is like when in his twilight years Orson Welles claimed that his radio play of War of the Worlds caused mass panic because otherwise thought it was real. Well it didn't. The play was interrupted for commercial breaks every few minutes, every segment began with a reintroduction of the play, and the War of the Worlds was something of a best selling and therefore very well known story. Also it had been advertised on dozens of radio stations for over a week before hand, so pretty much everyone knew it was coming.

I'm not sure if there was a wizard/Muggle war during the Middle Ages. I think centuries of Muggles hunting wizards and burning them created psychological effects on wizards to the point that they just sort of gave up and let the Muggles have their way, and then they went underground as a result and wiped away any trace of magic from Muggle awareness. I think the reason their not as powerful as Merlin and the other great wizards of the Middle Ages is simply because those Middle Age wizards had the freedom to create as much impressive magic as they could, and now the wizarding world lives in hiding and people, by default, have to be more cautious about the sort of magic they produce.

No. The reason why wizards live in secrecy to muggles is because previously in the Wizarding world the witch hunts began so the wizards had to avoid becoming known to muggles. Thats actually how the pure blooded beliefs originated from, the wizards were scared of the muggles at the time which is why Salazar Slytherin didnt consider muggle borns worthy to study at hogwarts. As time moved on, wizards and witches didnt want to make themselves known to the muggles, as fear of this could happen to themselves.
(Muggles attempted to burn the witches and wizards at the stake, which is mentioned when Harry is doing homework at the Dursleys at the start of book 2 or 3)

Don't think the horcrux thing is viable. People affected by one of these have little or no control over their exaggerated, and often subtle, aggression. But Dudley redeemed himself right after Harry saved him from the dementors. He stopped tormenting him entirely and even left bowls of soup outside Harry's bedroom as a way of saying thanks; which Harry in turn took as a prank. Dudley even wished him luck before the whole family was taken away by ministry people for safety purposes when Harry came of age. So either Dudley, and the other Dursleys, weren't affected at all or they developed strong resistance against it.

You forgot to mention the reason why Trelawney might not be believed! She mentions having a relative named Cassandra (I believe it was a grandmother, but I don't quite remember. Fans were quick to point out that in greek mythology, the character Cassandra was a young woman first gifted with the ability to see the future after the god Apollo fell in love with her, but was then cursed by Apollo to never have her fortunes be believed when she rejected him.
If Trelawney inherited Cassandra's ability to see the future, it makes sense that she would also inherit the curse that follows
