What Darth Maul's Appearance In Solo Means For Star Wars
video description
You got the B versions of the movies however. George Lucas did not want to pay for the better quality versions! Later he sold the lower quality B versions to Disney were they still had the option to buy the higher quality screenplays. Otherwise George Lucas would have never seen 4 billion dollars from the deal.
So there you have it, the fans lost out.
Buy the way the higher quality versions took 2 to 3 times longer to write than the lower quality screenplays. Each B version screenplay took less a week to write.
The higher quality screenplays would have made the fans a lot more satisfied, but there would still be complainers.
More than likely the higher quality screenplays would have made back their cost and then some but they wanted the free versions!
The last few movies you will be missing out the most on.

He finally died a little bit before episode 4. He's had an amazing story line and lasted all the way through Rebels. He's one of my favorite Sith lords. I really wish they made a solo film about him than the shitty Solo movie. He saved the movie for me even if it was like 30 seconds in. The whole franchise is just pure cancer now. I wish they just listened to fans, stop the new movies, finish clone wars and just make 7 & 8 non cannon. Starwars used to be my favorite franchise. I read almost all the EU and have a ton of comics/ books. The new movies just disappointed me so much I never wanna touch a book again.

Really they should just go ahead and make the Obi Wan movie with Maul as the villain and even Emilia Clarks character from solo can be involved. I'm well aware Obi Wan and Maul had their confrontation in Star Wars rebels but if someone at Disney comes in to pitch a movie or movies that does a more original take on that story I doubt they would let an animated series that showed on Cartoon Network intended for kids stop them. Better yet, bringing back Ewan McGregor or Ray Park in the titular roles would be pretty welcoming regardless of Disney's temptation to stay as far away from the prequels as they can.

Question: how long do people in Star Wars live? How do they age?
Because having Maul in Solo would mean that Solo will be at least 50 years old when meeting Leia in Ep. 4, given the fact that he died in Ep. 1 when Anakin was 8-10 years old. 10 years until he meats Padme again + at least 4 years of war + at least 18 years until Leia grows up = around 30 years.
Han is at least 20 (something) when Darth Maul still lives = 20+30 = 50 years old when meeting Leia - really?
What am I missing?

It tells me that Hans Solo is pretty friggin old in Star Wars IV. Bc Darth maul was in Star Wars I, Annikan was only an 8 yr old kid in that movie? Bc Luke is about how old when Star Wars IV takes place? 20? So lets just say Annikan was 20 when he became Darth Vader, so when Luke and Leia were born. So that would mean 32 yrs from when Darth Maul was around? How old is Solo in his movie? 18? 20? SO? wouldnt that mean that Hans is 50-52 yrs old when he gets with Leia?

Sith and Jedi are nothing more then religions and have nothing to with the actual existence of the force.
As demonstrated in the movies, there are untrained people capable of tapping into the force and use it whether of it aware or not.
Therefore if force users exist without the need of training or devotion to a set path.
Then a lot of the extended universe can co exist with the cinematic universe without creating conflicting notions.

I would rather see an Obi-Wan movie than Episode 9. I seriously hate Rey (AKA Mary Sue) and Kylo. It's turning into a hot mess real fast. In the Obi-Wan movie, I would love to see more of Darth Maul, but I would also like to know a bit more about my girl Shaak Ti and what the hell happened to her after order 66 considering that she literally died at least 3 different times, making me wonder if she is immortal and cannot die for good. -_-

Well. supposedly Maul and Obi-Wan don't even meet up again until the events in Star Wars Rebels, so for him to appear in an Obi-Wan movie doesn't make any sense.
That being said Maul can only appear in a future Solo sequel or perhaps any other Star Wars Story movie, but he can't appear in the Obi-Wan movie, at least not in an actual face to face confrontation because they don't meet again until Star Wars Rebels.

it means they are out of ideas to make movies about some characters without trying to force them to be on the same storyline. maul had nothing to do with this movie TBH its just a cashgrab to try to do a movie about maul, which indeed is a good idea but coming from a solo movie not that much, just pure BS. ship is going down fast and they needed a good hook at the end, just saying.

I would like to see Maul and Q'ira's story being handled in the Kenobi 2020 movie. It's a way to tie together all 3 spin-offs (Solo introduces Han; Q'ira and reintroduces Maul, Kenobi movie deals with Maul and keeping Luke safe, and Rogue One introduces Tarkin and reintroduces Vader and Leia. I heard there would only be 3 spinoffs
