X-Men while a Terrific super heroes movie was 2 damn years later so it did not revive the super hero genre it is the 1998 movie Blade. Saying it's X-Men is moronic, nonsensical, Quoting Spock Most Illogical, inane, and not even arguable at all.

Blades had a few comic series, to little commercial success. After Tomb of Dracula, there was a Marvel Preview short that explained his urging further, then the 90's came and saw him team up with the Nighstalkers, as part of the midnight sons story arc, then his first solo series, along with a few other series in the 90's (City of Blood, Blade the Vampire Hunter, Blood Allies. In the 2000's they had the MAX series, which focused on Blade infiltrating the vampire mob, as well as the Marc Guggenheim series. The video mentioned his team appearances after the show, but he also teamed up with the X-Man. Marvel had planned a new series to he released in 2015, focusing on Blade training his daughter, but it never was released.

Folks went crazy over Black Panther but forgot Blade came out well before it in 1998! It was brilliant, used adult action, murky, used adult humour, had a dark plot, it didnt hold back. by the time it got it to Blade Trinity it had sadly gone downhill. The TV series was just water down nonsense. That said, the first two films deserve much more credit as does Blade overall. I would love to see Blade as part of the MCU, heres hoping for a proper revamp of Blade. Who would make a great a modern day Blade now? Id have my money on Michael B Jordan!

Wesley Snipes not only made Blade into the success it was. he also pushed to do a film on The Black Panther. but was told that it would never happen. it did, just 15 years later, and without Wesley Snipes (Hollywood is terrible about giving credit, where credit is due. Wesley Snipes should play the role of Blade, every single time. as they could easily do several additional Blade films, cross-overs, and spin-offs. all with appearances of Blade.

Blade can return bigger then ever i mean the 1st two movies were ether good or at least not half bad before the 3rd kicked itself in the nuts
all they need to do is have blade cameo hero movies in small ways then have him team up with one in a world saving story that isnt bad then
bam everyones favorite 90's badass is back and i honestly can say the fans may over look the 3rd if the script isnt screwed up this time

You guys forgot to even mention the Night Stalkers series of comics where the Night Stalkers (Blade, Hannibal King, and Frank Drake) teamed up with characters like Ghost Rider, Dr. Strange, Morbius, and Johnny Blaze. The series ran from 1992 to 1994 which was labeled The Midnight Sons. Very good story line, I highly recommend it to any die hard Marvel fan!

Look as much as I loved the blade series movies I think snipes should just give up, I mean nothing personal but hes too old to play this role it's time for some young blood.
Side note, snipes doesnt want to give up the role because he knows theres huge money involved and hes in a slew of legal battles

You forgot to mention that he not only appeared in some of the Amazing Spiderman cartoons but also received an Anime treatment.
But I would LOVE to see Blade in the MCU, as long as Disney doesnt screw with the character to much. He has been a Rated-R character and should ALWAYS BE a Rated R character.

If S. H. E. I. L. D. cast Wesley Snipes as Blade I will watch it. I just hope they will give Wesley Snipes full creative control of the character. Wesley Snipes is a great actor, he just needs a second chance. Just watch Brooklyn's Finest and Expandables 3, you can see Snipes still got it.
