This setup does not include drivers. Therefore you cannot adjust things like sensitivity and deadzone. The deadzone is so big it's hard to control some faster vehicles. In different games it's impossible. When I complained to whoever makes this piece of crap (ah, Saitek/Madcatz) they said it was only designed to work with Farming Simulator. So tough luck. On the box it says Precision. What a laugh. I should have returned this straight away.
I do still use the panel, but I pair it with a Logitech G29. The G29 is twice the price of this Wheel and Pedal set, but the difference is dramatic. I doubt anyone is still buying these but in case you're considering it, don't. Just get the panel or look into custom Arduino/RasPi units.

Seeing it, i immediately thought $180-$225 but wow! $300? . And i get that the separate control module feels good BUT that that control arm joystick is small. too small. Considering that what it's mimicking is already researched and designed to be a minimal yet comfortable and practical yet isn't very much larger than the one on the controller. So as someone who is accustomed to using that stick on equipment, that stick on the controller would feel like a toy (as in it would feel fragile and impractical). But I'm speculating because i wouldn't and couldn't drop $300 on that setup

Sorry for my last comment(ideletedit) my old hang out from when I was a kid, this a huge abandoned golf that grew massive trees that shaded a lake and were fun at to climb, grass never grew to high that you could even lay in, got bought out and by some contruction company then destroyed. Every single tree by the lake torn down and yard of grass upturned, there was even a sturdy wooden bridge that they took out. Just pretty much stripped the land. The place looks like a wasteland now. Fight for the trees kids. Theres generation of people that dont give a rats ass preservation.

Can you adjust from the MASSIVE deadspot on the steering wheel? It's looks like you have to turn the wheel FAR too may degrees before your input is registered. You can really see it when you tried to play DOOM but it was still very evident when actually playing FS15. I really like the concept but I hope there is either a diver level tool that lets you dial in your -dead spots- or an in game menu (much better if it's both. I love your videos btw. Great stuff. Very entertaining. Especially for me who is 43 years old and have been into computers and gaming my while life.

So it's just a standard flight stick with a smaller stick shape, a few more buttons and without the pov hat. I did something similar for mech games: I bent sheet metal to a wedge shape, screwed a non-hotas flight stick to the right side and an external numpad to the left side. I left a flat surface in the middle section for spacing and to hold the mouse when needed, but I guess there is enough room to clamp a regular sized wheel there. It's all separate components as far as the pc is concerned in both cases.

I once tried this controller at a Farming Simulator demo stand at some show, and the controller truly is terrible quality. It is way overpriced for how utter cheap crap plastic it's made from. It works just fine, at least while it's still new, but it constantly feels like it's about to break and the flex in the plastic is absolutely unacceptable. And mind you in these parts it's a lot more than $300, more like $500. And at that price point it's not far from Logitech's high end wheels and pedals

This was awesome. I was laughing my ass off when you cut down the tree, and zipping around in the tractor with the wheel looked actually fun as hell. Farming Simulator has never crossed my mind before ever, but damn, something so strange looks so fun it would be cool to have that around to fire up time and again.

No offence ment when I say this but why the well do you like farming simulator there's like 1000 games that have farming in them and it's such an odd thing to actually like to play I always wondered who do they make these for if not to just scam a grandma into getting it for the grandkids

I bought a $7 numpad from walmart and made up some bash scripts that use xdotool commands to use it as a super cheapo macropad for my desktop and all my Steam games in Linux Mint. So basically a $80 macropad for $7. They can keep the overpriced and extremely limited controller.

I was considering picking up one of these until I saw the low quality on the switches. They look like rockers, but they don't rock? What a joke. They still want $250 for this set 5 years later. Unbelievable. Sad that nothing like this has come out since then.
