Video idea: Top games to introduce you to a new genre.
Some obvious ones might Hollow Knight to introduce someone to the metroidvania genre or Hades and Deadcells for rogue-likes.
I'm not into souls-likes. I forced myself to play Elden Ring because a friend kept hyping it up but I didn't love it and never finished it. I enjoyed the two recent Jedi games but they're not full on souls-likes and the souls-like elements were actually the parts of the game I didn't enjoy. However, I just started randomly playing Lies of P and it's just so good and the setting and premise is so unique that it's actually gotten me interested in exploring the genre more and maybe returning to Elden Ring or trying the original Souls trilogy.

I WILL NEVER FORGET PLAYING THROUGH GEARS OF WAR WITH MY BROTHER AFTER I GOT MY VERY FIRST CONSOLE AND WITH MY OWN MONEY. It was money well spent. That co-op completely blew me away! I had never seen anything like that up to that point.
With the sections how one person would have to control the gun and the other do something else. Or one person control the spot light as you moved. Honestly it has been so long since I have played it so I forget the exact details but I just recall little bits and pieces of how each of us had an equally important and cool job. And it wasn’t just we both did the same things the whole time through.

I can confirm with Helldivers 2. However, this game has helped overall tighten the bond in the friendship amongst the four of us. The crew and I play on different platforms, so we use Discord for communication (2 PC, 1 XSX, & 1 PS5. We all work together in a ski school department at a ski resort. Our group chat is called Skier Team 6. We may get a little volatile with each other at the end of some matches, but at the end of the day, especially the next day at work, we always greet each other with a Democracy salute.

This is why Arc Raiders is so good. You don’t need friends to be around and hopefully log on in the right mood. You just naturally end up in unexpected situations fighting to survive, with a random other player you never knew before and will never see again yet, never forget. I’ll die for that dude lol.
Unexpected collaboration is so much better than arranged collaboration.
More of that please.

Peak is definitely a game where helping someone can save you later, but also using resources for them can also hurt you. You’ll get hungry, you’re using that item that maybe you need 15 minutes later. If you haven’t get unlimited Peak from the Thunder store. It’s playing with more than 4 people. It’s definitely chaotic, and it’s fun climbing with more friends.

I find that personal Computer gaming is more inaccessible than ever these days, so while I still appreciate these videos and learning about these interesting games, I think it would be nice if it was specified the majority aren't available to console players from the start, I always get my hopes up to experience them and then realize they're early access, steam only

Some other great (infuriating) co-op games are Bread & Fred, Pico Park, Bloody Trapland 2, Heave Ho, Make Way, Enter the Gungeon, Worms WMD, Unrailed, Uno, Lego Party, Human Fall Flat, and Party Animals.

I think something is wrong with me, because I love these types of friendship ending games.

To this day, Remnant 2 is still the best game I have ever played. Everything about it just works so well. It's meant to be replayed so you can get stronger and stronger, but once I beat the main story I was good. That said, that 30 hours I put in was the best 30 hours I've had in a game. The perfect game.

A top _ RPGs that use the whole party at one point. Example dragon age origins during final fight, the party members you don’t bring with you eventually defend the gate from enemy reinforcements. Or trails in the sky 3rd, near the end 3 dungeons at the same for 3 teams of all party members to be used.

it’s so weird that the clips they use never show or match up with stuff they talk about for that game. HD2 expert missions it is so easy to be overwhelmed makes us sit in silence for 10 seconds as a dude stands still and slowly kills 3 bugs. Every single clip showed in the vid is like this

In the early 80’s two artist, Tehching Hseih and Linda Montano chained themselves together for a year for an art piece. They were tethered by an 8 foot rope. It was called Rope Piece. I wonder is the creators of Chained Together got the idea from that

Double Dragon arcade is the ultimate! You play through the whole game with your buddy and then at the end you fight for the girl. At the time it was a serious twist, because we never thought about there being only one girl being kidnapped.

I haven’t even watched this video yet, and I can say for my experience the most friendship challenging game ever was Mortal Kombat Shaolin monks. Sharing a health bar with your partner was beyond frustrating.

If we were in a relationship, your constant begging would make people label it a toxic relationship.
Go yell at your boss that hes not paying you enough, or if capitalism isnt working out then find a new job.

You guys should do a video on Valentine’s Day (or not holiday themed) for 20 coop games that will create a bond my girlfriend just got a steam deck and we are looking for something that won’t break us up

You guys are just throwing anything on your lists at this point you’re not even trying anymore. You’re starting to look like the Ubisoft of reviewers. Can we get a REAL list with relevant games!

idk man have you played Deep Rock Galactic with an awful Driller or a useless Scout I feel pretty TESTED at times jk DRG is all positive vibes. It takes your friendship and makes you go: We're rich!

Yeah, I lucked out, Since I play offline when comes gaming. There is already enough stress in some games, but always think classic when thirteen year old, like beats a thirty year old in Call of Duty.

I witnessed the end of an engagement over co-op in Lego Indiana Jones. They were due to marry in less than a year. This is why I told my wife I will never play co-op with anyone.

We need an overlooked 4 player games ranking. So many people recommend the same 10 games in every video/post/thread. Let's find some hidden gems to play with your friends!
