Hello everyone, I'm Nabil the writer and director of RECOLLECTOR, a collaborative effort between many talented artists, filmed in Melbourne Australia. I'm thrilled that so many of you have watched the film and I am so grateful for all the comments.
It was made to ask the audience: what would you do, how far would you go, to ensure your survival in a world that fixates on corporate interests rather than humanity Where plutocracy is destroying our society and death has become a commodity I made the film to express my concerns on how we're sleepwalking into this reality and losing our morality on the way.
I hope it resonates with you. I hope that it makes you think and feel and does all the special things that sci-fi films can do.
Thank you for watching!

Lovely work. I don't think the story is so much about solving a murder, but instead an indictment of the create a need, provide the resolution sales culture that is destroying the planet and our humanity for profit. I can feel the main character's sadness at the end when he explains that every genuine thing is being consumed by metrics and quotas, and success is supposedly smiling through it. Fake it til you make it, but only if your soul can take it. The film itself is beautifully shot and the actors are compelling. The music complemented the scenes. Well done to all involved.

Sums up corporate so perfectly. Those who do the job suffer, and then there's the snarky little clueless worm from 'down town' to observe and tell you, you can do better. Chittering little maggot reciting your job to you like you are an imbecile who'd be so lost without them there.
Yet, you can't strangle the little crack sniffing worms can you You do the work, the pain and suffering, they take all the credit for it and then act like you should be grateful they took advantage of you.

Incredibly well done. .. shows what is possible even with a minimal budget and limited resources. No huge CGI production or anything, just solid acting and a compelling story. Speaking of which, the ending is a bit ambiguous. .. it could be interpreted as our antagonist is actually a serial killer, his fake recollections are actually of him committing mrders, his anguish is his torment about being a perpetual killer. .. OK, just an idea.

Not far fetched. An FBI whistle blower has revealed that they would coax, encourage and assist people to plan and execute terror attacks purely for the purpose of obtaining the rewards of achieving certain stats for thwarted terror attacks.

Dark. Very dark. A latent empath that, with augmentation, can access a victim's last memories before the brain deterioration erases everything, slowly going insane from the horror he's been forced to witness.

The corporate Hell of making quotas at the cost of morality is also found in the game Silicon Dreams. In it, you are an Android interrogating other androids who may or may not be defective.

Superb acting and sound in this one. Liked it very much. The circle of lights on the recollection mask made it look both futuristic and sinister. Solid story too.

Ooh, vewwy nice! I don’t always appreciate the ambiguity/irresolution I’m often left with after a Dust production, but in this case it was quite well done!

Ok this has to become a feature length film, series or anything! Such a solid concept and execution. I WILL PAY to see this, take my money already

that's a very messed up plot. Their concept of reality and what we perceive as reality has an interesting nudge to the script. Classic dust film

The character of Auditor reminds me of Eric Idle from Python. He should have said it was the Auditor who did it just to get him to shut up.

Very well done. Couple of question though. Why didn't he just tell the evaluator she killed herself Why does there have to be a murderer

I can't watch a crime scene get trampled by cops before forensics gets there. No gloves, no booties, no overalls, I'm out.

Stunning story. But I have to say that whoever composed the score did an amazing job. It made the story so much more immersive.
