well done - we die alone - when we think of it in a real way, we understand that alone means lonely - we hope to lay our truth at the feet of the universe - and be seen as one who did hear and did listen to the sounds of silence, and we did not harden our hearts. And yet we still have doubts and fear of how we will be received = and how we will change and what we will become under the glare of purity - we cry because we want to be accepted and understood by something we have always in some way managed to distance ourselves from in ways we know not how. we have knocked on the door so often, yet we have not knocked in the right way - until we finally do see that the door is opening - and what we planned to say is unimportant and gone. you were perhaps alone as you built the spaceship and yet look at how many have now felt the love of your spaceship.

Cinematically and directorially, this film is great. But the plot is what turned me off from this. If your partner leaves you in a fight, you just don't send out messages that I'll find you. Then when you do, roll up on their house, jump out of the car and be like, I'm here! Unless, of course, you're a psycho stalker. and maybe she was in this case and that's what the true message of this film was. Now that I think about, maybe this is really a stalker movie.

Bummer! The door opens and. Since the viewer knows nothing of the events she spoke of, they don't fully understand why those people left Earth. She did mention war and the Earth dying, but she was shown only shown on Earth with that man.
More information about the events she spoke of would have been nice to have more of an understand of the why in this video.
Regardless, a fine short video that is as engrossing as a full length movie.

Cinematography was warm and well-balanced. Set design was intricate and well-made. Music sounded atmospheric. The VFX work for the shots of space were really pretty and well implemented; it didn't feel the need to be flashy, which worked really well. Liked the sound design for the spaceship's mechanisms. But personally found the dialogue and acting to feel really stilted and wooden. Made it really hard to care about the story.

Perfect. This is what I feel a short story should be; drop in without really knowing what is going on before and be left not knowing what’s next. If you had shown a face / suit / anything more, then it would have gone too far. It was perfect embodiment of a short sci fi story. Thank you Bryan. Top notch. Great choice of music too.

Impressive work. One issue for the hearing disabled. The captions only report the words; there is no descriptive text for sounds. I had to have someone explain when she heard the unintelligible voices on the radio. To me it just seemed like she was trying again to speak to the emptiness, which changes the plot somewhat.

This would be an excellent job for me! I thrive on alone time. Im pretty reclusive and only social when I absolutely have to be. I could imagine the ship starting to feel like a cage after an really extended period though This was a great movie High five

Loved the aeroplane driving wheel for piloting the spaceship. Do not know why she had to use the radio, couldn't she have just pressed her hand on the centre of the wheel and beeped the horn

I didn't like the ending. I'm not sure if the story was meant to be like this all along due to budget constraints for a short story being filmed. I wonder if that was why it was just that way.

Production is fine. Acting is fine. The plot makes no sense though. I won’t spoil anything but the motives of the mission make no sense. If you can get past that it’s a good watch.

Very nice. I found it interesting it never showed the guy speaking. It gave me the impression that perhaps he wasn't real, an emotional construct she made to maintain sanity while alone.

OK so a person with emotional problems is sent on a long term mission in a ship from the 2200s which looks like it was from the 1950s. Not even close to believable.

Loved the thrusters although you do not see them. Point the computer where you want to go and it executes the course correction. Never seen that before. Cool.
