My roomba gets stuck under my chair because the gap is about 1/8 shorter than it is, so I think I'm relatively safe from any murderous tendencies it may be harboring. Also, I can just casually walk down the stairs.

Less is more here. Not having to explain how a robot without hands and opposable digits can clean up a dead body and having all the action off screen was cinematically, and comically, a nice touch.
