One thing I hate is how they make all the 'important' characters be too large. Draka ought to be smaller than Thrall, no doubt. Hell even Grom Hellscream was described as lean and agile and Thrall was bigger than him. Garrosh's size no doubt comes from his mothers size but even then he'd be on equal footing with Thrall for size. The Lich King wasnt a 9 foot tall giant. He was just a human who wielded power eternal. I understand it for gameplay reasons in raids, but Draka is just an NPC and so is Thrall. Their relative size between them should have been made accurate.

7: 28 I believe this is foreshadowing that after everyone comes back from the shadowlands and defeats the jailor, either thrall or sylvanas will take the sigils back and use it to change back to its original time where deathwing was never controlled by the old gods and garrosh never became the warchief and arthas never went to the frozen throne. I believe thrall will be warchief again but by doing so they need to change time again (or go back in time) also facing the dreadlords once and for all

When I started playing SL and ran into Drakka, I started to get misty-eyed thinking and hoping at some point these two would meet and she would get to see how her son turned out. Later on during the mission to assault the Maw, I was like: come on already tell her who you are dammit. Then at the last, some asshole was cutting some fierce onions and I had trouble seeing the screen. Good stuff.

I have a head cannon that the -Shadowlands- might actually be the world Sargarus destroyed. The Maldraxxus is a rotting dead old god. I mean it makes sense for the odd -Buildings and structures- to be all bones The big insects could of been the old gods young and the Drust their followers like the cult of twilights hammer.

Thrall is a great character that you can relate. In fact one of the best in the warcraft universe. He feels the weight of his actions. He has feelings and morals which make him question his actions. Although he accomplished too much he still has to deal with grief of some of his choices. He feels human.

When I met Draka for the first time I was hoping for a reunion with Thrall, and in Chains of Domination, when Thrall volunteered to join us, I nearly squealed like a fangirl. The cherry on top was when after Draka reveals she knew he was her son, they had that heart to heart, asking who he is now.

Draka: How did Garrosh die? -
Thrall: I challenged him to Mak'gora! -
Draka: Ahh-
Thrall: And lost! -
Draka: Wut? -
Thrall: So I used magic to kill him! -
Draka: L. Like Gul'Dan did to your father? -
Thrall: Exactly! -
Draka: I'm disowning you.

Once upon a time Chris Metzen has this idea that maybe Thrall was kind of hollow inside from leading the Horde, and it was time for him to find himself.
Then Cataclysm happened, and everything Thrall did was just wrong.
At least Lothar got to stay dead.

Despite the in-game graphics, character models, and idle animations (and the kind of mediocre voice acting on Draka's part, the emotions are there. If there had been a cinematic, I'd be willing to pay good money to see it, even if it's pay-per-view.

Voljin and honor doesn-t go together because he pretty much stabbed his warchief in the back and when garrosh was in need of advice the most he was betrayed by this desert rat. I wish there was a spit emoji because I-d use it right now.

It's absolutely bizzare seeing ashbringer and draka having a casual conversation. This xpac needed more of that. That's kind of the whole point of doing something like this

I-ll tell you who thrall is. a coward and a traitor to his warchief! A cheater in makgora and an orc with NO honor! Garrosh is the son she should-ve had.

It kind of bothers me because in The Burning Crusade, Greatmother Geyah said Thrall had Draka's eyes. Now Draka is saying he has Durotan's eyes lol.

So much emphasis on the mother and none on the father. So much failed male initiation because Blizzard wants to virtue signal. This game is doomed.

I was lying in bed and it just occurred to me that I've been playing the game and never saw thrall and his mom's meeting thanks for the video.

What was the weapon that Thrall took out of the ground? It looks like the Woe Cleaver from Hearthstone, but I'm not sure if that was canon or not.
reply

Thrall is really short compared to his mom. Probably trying to fill in so many people's shoes and wearing that armor made that happen -

This brought a tear to my eye. This is Mother and Son being proud of each other and each getting closure.

Wow has become such an emo adventure. Everyone cry and wish to see their mum now. All should have end in Legion.
reply

I waited since the release of Shadowlands for this to happen. It made my cry to see Thrall with his mother.
reply

what if garrosh met draka in the afterlilfe and they were together. imagine how awkward it'd be for thrall.
