Wait. The scene with Anduin and Sylvanas seemed so much more than just simple. It was like a reenactment of Arthas and Sylvanas. Yet again, a hero lives long enough only to become a villain. And also give the torch to the next person.
It is also somewhat interesting to see how Sylvanas reacts to the sheer puppet that Anduin becomes after that. It is like herself before, and Arthas before her.
I still wonder if Sylvanas suffered or still suffers from Stockholm syndrome in her early banshee years. Many of her actions still find themselves in pursuit of death more than anything.

yknow the end cinematic for this expansion was garbage lore-wise, but the plotline in ardenweald was absolutely beautiful. ysera-s death was one of the saddest moments in warcraft history, and seeing her spirit be brought back was absolutely beautiful. nursing her back to health as a wildseed and saving her was so touching. she was a mother to many and a friend, and now we have taken care of her as she did for us in her living years. i literally bawled when i realized that it was her inside that wildseed.

I'm just a language nerd obsessed with all languages both real and fantasy. and that has been my biggest gripe with WoW since the beginning. They have the voice actors speak lines in different languages, but they for all intents and purposes do it with blatantly English phonetics. Sure, they insert the occasional trilled /r/, but, to quote Ryan Gosling re: Papyrus, -IT WASN'T ENOUGH! -

The way they ruined everything that happend breaks my heart. Nothing ever mattered, nobody had any own character, everything was a grand plan and the worst thing is how they brought back the most important character of all time, as a sword. Its so boring, so insulting. What does all of it matter anyway. Sad how it all has fallen.

For far too long WoW has gotten sidetracked into nonsense not originally part of the lore, Panda-s we-re the point I stopped caring for many years. Legions excited me but fell flat. This has been a decent continuation of the past storylines I just hope it finishes well.

Say what you will about the dumpster fire that Shadowlands was an an expansion. but you have to admit that the moment when Sylvie screams breaking the helm and then the sky shattering was one of the single most bad ass cinematics they have EVER done for an expansion cinematic.

Despite people-s problems with Blizzard storylines & plots, I still have to hand it to Blizzard for creating some of the most epic cutscenes. I still get goosebumps every time I watch certain ones just due to their epicness.

Really still dislike the fact they retconned Ner'zhul as the original Lich King and the fact that it was Kil'Jaeden that created him.
