Jaina & Calia Talk About the link between Arthas, Bolvar, and the Jailer. Jaina and Thrall have been freed from Torghast. The runes of Frostmourne and mourneblade are woven into the Maw & Torghast. Anduin is intended to be Sylvanas' and Jailer's weapon. Or bait for the real one. Azshara's

I stopped playing WoW around the time Cataclysm came out, but I-ve been such a huge fan of Warcraft ever since I was little.
I started playing Warcraft 3 back around when I was like 5, and it was actually how I initially learned English.
I love watching your videos, seeing the bits and pieces they still try to throw in with Arthas, and how much more they actually state/show his and Jaina-s love (I do also need to finish the book written by Christie Golden.
I kinda feel like the perfect way to fully wrap up his character, his -new arc-, as well as Jaina-s, would be to, ironically I guess, have him, or rather his soul, show up for one final battle against whatever new big bad they introduce for that expansion.
Have Jaina there as well, give them a small moment, to give their honest feelings to each other (LET THEM TELL EACH OTHER HOW MUCH THEY LOVE ONE ANOTHER, and then let Arthas be the one to express his sorrow first as well as let him say his goodbyes first, allow Jaina to be hesitant at first to want to let him go, but not deny to let him go. Then show how far she-s come by allowing her to accept that this is it, letting her finally let go of Arthas, and say her final and emotionally heartfelt goodbye to her prince. Let Arthas know and acknowledge it, and maybe give his final words and let those be to Jaina, and as -cheesy- as it may be, let it be real, and true, like -No matter what, Jaina, my love for you will never die- I will always be with you- now I am sucker for a good sendoff so I-d also love if he just gave her like a small kiss goodbye, before going in and making the ultimate sacrifice, defeating/destroying whatever big bad they-re facing, and/by destroying his own soul in the process.
Allowing his final act to pay the ultimate price for the ultimate deed.
-I will give anything or pay any price, [to] save my people. - - Arthas Menethil
(I know I paraphrased slightly there, leaving a couple of words out, to make the point of course)

I was looking through the comments and i guess ill just say it. I dont understand the whole concept of Uther forgiving and admitting to himself that it was the darkness that took over Arthas, and appearing to get over his death in Wrath, only for him in Shadowlands wanting -Justice- On Arthas. Uthers character to me was always a bit annoying and now hes pretty much unbearable. Hes supposed to be this man of the Light, and im not quite done with Shadowlands yet but just seen the cutscene of him dropping Arthas into the Maw (mainly was here to see if Arthas makes a return as a Paly in the Maw) and just cant seem to grasp Uthers character development. Its almost like they said lets bring back an old character to just throw a wrench in things without thinking about the characters old actions. If they were going to do this and i know it REALLY wouldnt make any sense since he DEFINITELY wouldnt go to Bastion, but it would make more sense for Garrosh of all key characters to want revenge on Thrall. Thrall set him up as leader when he didnt want to lead, then got upset for him being a warlord, then challenged him to a duel and cheated because he was going to lose. If Garrosh was there and showed Devos his betrayal and unjust murder then i could see her turn evil and thus start the divide in Bastion.
To clarify,
Dont like Uthers character Developement. (Pretty much said F all that happened in Wrath were going to rewrite it like people dont know about it)
Dont understand the Bastion divide
And unrelated but really dont understand the whole Anduin just walking into Bastion like no one knew he was captured by the jailor. (Just doesnt really sit right to me)
Heres hoping that this will all be explained by the time i finish the campaign but its doubtful, if i am wrong on any of this ill come back and clear it up i know its mad late but annoys me being a long time player of the game.

This video has brought me a lot of nostalgia. I grew up with Arthas, with Warcraft 3 and it is one of the games that I have liked to play the most (and I still like. Arthas and Jaina deserve to see each other one last time to close the wounds that could not be closed, a hug, a kiss, something that allows them both to live in peace with their demons. The last few days I've been watching the final cinematic of Starcraft II Heart of the Swarm, and I think it's a scene that could serve to end Shadowlands: Arthas and Jaina say goodbye each other and Jaina flies back to Azeroth as Arthas watches her. I know, it seems silly, but I think it would be great.

He. He kept it. All this time he kept it!
I knew!
I sensed a part of him still alive. Trapped. Struggling. Oh Arthas!
Perhaps he might someday remember from what he once was.
By The Light may he at last find rest. free from the icy grip of that terrible blade!
What kept Arthas about Jaina?
Back in the days when i was playing with the game, i did it on the Horde side, so the whole Jaina-Uther thing was missing for me completely.
Now I'm trying to find something about it, but i can't. so i would kindly ask you guys to tell me what is this all about?
Thank you!

I put thousands of hours into WoW up until WOTLK. I saw Arthas die, and to me, that was the end of Warcraft. I grew out of it and stopped.
That being said, the story has always fascinated me and I still read the books to this day, though I haven't read many of the new ones. Is that Uther Lightbringer? Why is he like, an angel or w/e? What happened to him? He seems. kinda. the wrong side of being an Angel.

Arthas/Lich King is probably the best overall villain, and one of the best characters, that Warcraft has had. Which is kind of sad, because he's really a pretty generic baddie. Warcraft has always had that vibe of feeling like it was written for, and BY, teenage boys. But they haven't even been able to match some of their earlier stories with the latest games.

WOW 2021 but graphic is still from 2001. all I can says is blizzard nowadays is very disappointing after merging with Activision, a money digging machine and nothing else is interesting, game that we love are dying and replaced with all CARTOONISH graphic. the last time Blizzard's code was GAMEPLAY FIRST, now become > MONEY IN FIRST

I mean. after we defeated Hogger (lmao, Illidan, Ragnaros, Nefarian, C'thun, Arthas, Death Wing, Garrosh, Gul'dan, Cenarius, Xavius, Arquimonde, Kill'Jaeden, Tichondrius, Varimathras, Argus, Azshara and even N'zoth. They call us 'maw walker' like that is our greatest accomplishment.
reply

Let me get this straight, the Jailer controlled Arthas and still he let him hold back the Scourge for years, even though it could wipe life on Azeroth? Oh right because he wanted us as champions. even though he could just kill everyone and raise them after if he didn't held back.

Haven't followed retail WoW since the end of WoTLK. I don't know who this jailor fellow is but retconning him in as the guiding hand for the whole Arthas arc is bad writing. Archimonde and his demon lord Mal'Ganis were the reason for Arthas becoming lich king.

The amount of clickbait in the title should be illegal and the smartasses working on these videos should be ashamed of themselves for getting viewers hopes up just for them to make cheap money of of messing with people, disgusting.

I still ship Jaina and Arthas. I wish he could get redeemed, learn from his mistakes, accepts that he was corrupted because of his intense desire to save his people, and somehow find his way back to her.
: D One can hope?

My eyes fill with tears every time I think about Arthas and his whole story. So sad. I as I saw at another comment below, I literally grew up with Arthas too. I do not know how many times I finished Warcraft III's storyline.

Bolvar: -Jaina, take a break. You are still recovering from your time in the Maw. -
Me: -Yeah, I think we could all use a break from--
Bolvar: -Let the Maw Walker deal with this. -
Me: -. you son of a. -

They called throwing Arthas into the Maw justice, But what people didn't realize, is that Arthas was Possessed! His actions were because of The Lich king. which means that they through a innocent man into the Maw
reply

I know its the soul split stuff, but when the other half of uther dropped Arthas in the maw all I could think was Uther wouldn't do this, he forgave him and tries to remember how he was before frostmourne.
reply

I wonder what Jaina will feel when she learns Uther threw Arthas into the maw instead of his soul being at peace. I feel like they deserve to see each other again, in order to have a proper farewell.

It-s funny how Kiljaeden turned Ner-zul into the Lich king and frostmourne, but frostmourne also was created by the Runecarver-
reply

The speech from Uther's Soul, it makes me wonder if what he felt is from the other Uther, the one who is serving Devos.
reply

I'm a bit confused. I thought Kil'jaeden made the Lich King, but it was the Jailer who truly had a hand in it?

i miss old warcraft 3 story more than world of warcraft. its a piece of shit that never improve the graphic until today.
