Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
Nathan Smith, associate curator in the Dinosaur Institute at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, talks about every dinosaur that appears in the Jurassic Park films. How realistically were the dinosaurs in the films portrayed? Is the T-Rex actually the king of the dinosaurs? Is the real life Dilophosaurus actually SCARIER than its film counterpart? Nathan uses his dino-expertise to highlight the similarities and differences between what we know now, and how the movies depicted them

Okay but here-s my thing why didn-t they had a pachy ( the one that has a hard head ) in Jurassic park but they added one in Jurassic world fallen kingdom ( the scene where Owen and Claire was in the cage and the pachy was in the cage next to them ) the pachy dinosaur is my favorite I find them adorable they only showed the T. rex, Spinosaurus, Dilophosaurus, pterodactyl, brontosaurus, parasaurolophus, ankylosaurus, apatosaurus, and the triceratops

Why is it unrealistic, that the I-Rex can -talk- to the raptors? I think it could do that.
Look, raptors are very birdlike. We know, that part of birds' vocalisation is inherent and not learned. If a canary bird is raised by a different species, their song will STILL be part canary, only intercut, but not so much mixed with the parent species' vocalisation.

Bro look at dinosaurs-. imagine if we are able to get photos of aliens at some point in our life and they-re in a state like this where there-s just life going no civilization and huge creatures, would they be something even more alien than a dinosaur or does life on other planets follow the same or similar path of evolution we-ve had on earth

Hate that every time when there's a person talking (the volume is small and calm) and suddenly they edited a video of dinosaur screaming or something really loud. Like bruhh can't the editor do a better job balancing the video's volume? It hurts especially when you're wearing earphones

He is right, they all are iconic. I mean if you forget the movie theme and plot.
It-s just amazing seeing something that has been dead for billions of years in action.
Spino-how they collapse due to global warming-. are on the movie hunting once again. I could easily get hooked

It's funny that the movies already addressed the dinosaur inaccuracies (filling in empty DNA sequences with reptile, amphibian, and bird DNA or frog DNA in movies, thats why they dont have feathers as explained in Jurassic World) but people always forget or just plain ignore

Velociraptors are actually supposed to be deinonychus. That-s why grant is digging up their bones in Montana rather than Mongolia where the real velociraptor is found.
The movie creators wanted deinonychus but didn-t like the name so they changed it to velociraptor.

I would-ve loved it if you had not edited him to three sentences per dinosaur. I-m sure he had more to say about each dinosaur. I would totally watch a video of this man speaking for an hour on this particular subject of all the dinosaurs in all the Jurassic Park movies

Ahhhhh. but don't forget that was not just a T-Rex in San Francisco (I think. California city anyway. it was high on a mega cocktail of sedative (likely narcotic) then an overdose of a neuro-stimulant. it was probably super thirsty and more prone to aggression.

well Jurassic park dinosaurs is byproduct of DNA manipulating creature. they are not authentic original dinosaurs, they are an animal that were made to look and behave like dinosaurs. most of us forget or ignore this fact, -they- -were- -born- -in- -a- -LAB-.
