-To me, the most important sound in a video game is the footstep sound. -
if you, for some reason, don't believe him, go play record of lodoss war on the dreamcast and equip any of the metal boots, play for 10 minutes with them equipped, you will then agree 100% with him.

Anyone who remembers Tommy on Electric Playground knew the footstep noises comments were coming, I vividly remember him bringing them up in almost every review he did. I had no idea he was a sound guy when i was a kid so i thought it was CRAZY he always was bringing it up

That murlock sound still haunts me to this day.
The first enemy encountered that could chain pull so many more of them. And just when you've killed your fifth one in a row and think you've survived. one spawns right on top of you.

Why do they have to use animals to create the gun sounds? I guess to imitate the sound of flesh being hit. but come on, dude. They're expert sound designers, they could find another way.

It-s unfortunate that Minecraft is associated with screaming cursing fortnite playing 10 year old, because imo its one of the best sandbox games in the past 10 years

This video is edited like garbage, there is no cohesion to the statements the people make whatsoever, that makes it really difficult to follow their points.

The dude with that black shirt is so quit, I have to turn my volume up pretty high. And everytime the dude in the red shirt screams in my ears, it scares the f out of me.

surely they told them the games that went with each sound effect, if not, then my guy just guessed the right game based off of the footsteps

Hearing Tommy Tallarico talking about footstep sounds reminded me when he did video game reviews on EP, when he commented on the one footstep sound.
