You guys -Do- factor location humidity with your -Several year dust cloud- theory, right?
First off, chunks of rock, dirt, and even fine powders have no business being launched into the sky for more than a couple of months, and location humidity would quickly cause a lot of those -smaller- fragments to drop back down to the earth in the form of rain (albeit not very clean rain)
An asteroid dust cloud would have to land in the middle of a completely arid desert, where there are enough strong atmospheric currents to keep the dust and dirt in the sky - and -then- it has to stay in that single area - not being carried by the wind. -THEN- it could be a several-year dust cloud.
But seriously, I'm not sure you guys know what you're talking about whenever I hear about these -dust clouds- that blot out the sun for years at a time.
Not saying they couldn't do it for awhile, or even a couple of months, but a -LOT- of variables would have to align for that. Gravity causes dust and dirt to sediment quite quickly, even after it has been carried for some distance.

Smart and very attractive. But with the craziness with the military, doing population control practice in US cities, they could know somethings coming. Think about it. IF the government had learned about something that could be THAT devastating, and destructive to the Earth, you KNOW they sure as Hell wouldn't tell the public about it, the people would go crazy. They would slowly prepare, get ready for a huge natural disaster, stock pile supplies, and come up with ways to control the panicked people, who would be rioting, looting, mindless violence, ect.

Why wasn't 2021 NA caught by the earths gravitational pull if it was in a like orbit as the earth and only 11 kps slower than the earths orbit, and cam well within our gravitational field? Its only 260' in size, but at. 16 the lunar distance, the earths gravity would act on it 1000x stronger than the suns at this distance?

At 4: 00 minutes she said the Chelyabinsk meteorite didn't even reach the surface. ahh, Yes it did, it landed in a frozen lake. The main explosions occurred high in the air, but it did reach the surface.

And we're worried about going to Mars. Or back to the moon for crying out loud. More funding must go towards research in deflecting asteroids and the like

If you wanna prevent doom. End being greedy evil humans. Until then you will not survive cause there's more then just an asteroid aimed at earth.

hehe, and if we ARE alone in this huge universe of ours, if life is this precious. It's almost our responsibility to explore it.
