The Future of Ideology.

The Future of Ideology. Peter: This is a good video; however the focus on low population growth having serious issues in the near future is not exactly accurate. If we look to japan the reduction in population has resulted in very low unemployment and an increased focus on technology. In simple terms a reduced birth rate does not have a major impact if we look at the individual. The individual maintains a high living standard and the GDP per Person continues to grow, but you do need high tech to achieve this.
Where there is an issue is twofold. The first is while the individual maintains a high living standard, the country as a whole does not. If there are enemies which would be willing to invade this is an issue in the future, although even here technology could compensate. The second issue is more serious, which is stagnation. If you have a peaceful and prosperous society there is no incentive to change, or to innovate. While this is not certain, its possible that in the far future the society will fall behind other societies and become irrelevant.
However there is one scenario where a low birth rate does cause a more immediate issue, which is if the society is not high tech. In a low-tech society a reduction of labour will have a major impact, which could be the scenario for china. Only time will tell.

I don't agree with the part where you said it won't be good for women.
I am India and I define myself as 'Traditionalist Liberal'. Meaning, I follow tradition, but at the same time want to liberalise from many wrong systems and beliefs.
There are many, or rather most of the people like this.
ex. back in the days most of the women were Housewives while men did the outdoor job, and together they followed tradition, like festivals, rituals, went to temples, gave religious education to children etc.
now, I've seen many couples where both men and women goes to job and earns their part, while following the same tradition their parents followed.
So, I don't think returning to old society will anyhow be a troll on women.

i am stunned and amazed that one so young can have such a powerful sweep and grasp of the world. I'm Chinese American and I was absolutely flabbergasted as to how well he understood the typical Chinese religious mindset in a previous video. I have explaining it myself to nonChinese it is a tangled mishmash. He articulates it better than I can -- and IT'S MY CULTURE. This gives me faith and belief in what he says. And I got a lot out of this video which has given me much food for thought as I consider meaning, purpose and identity. Finally, he totally pegged Jordan Peterson that he can be the focus of a possible future ideology. I follow Peterson -- religiously.

The idea that we consider Jews to be white but not Turks is dumb. Jews being white is kind of only something I see in the moderate-left zone. Far-right view them as alien to their European heritage (among other less savory things, Far-left view them as some oppressed class along with other minorities (though this is rapidly changing, moderate-right kind of a they're special (if not chosen to some of the die-hard religious, and most Jews I have talked to myself don't even consider themselves white.

27: 42 I honestly love your videos so far, but here I feel you're losing yourself a bit. Or at least I dearly hope. Even in my somewhat elitist leftist group of friends, a lot of those points are considered quite extreme and linked with either typical American woke culture or nonsense from EU tech companies playing the same ridiculous PR game as their USA counterparts. (in case I'm naive here, please give me a minute to decide if I'll take the red or blue pill; )

You said (and Im paraphrasing): Unlike Abrahamic religions, Buddhism and Confucianism cannot be disproven by Science. Well since two out of the tree Abrahamic religions are completely true. While Judaism is literally missing the second half of the picture, the origin story of Earth is still correct. You should check out ICR, or the Institute for Creation Research for proof on this. I you would like, I would be happy to write a summary of it all.

i wonder why does it matter that the centrists are mostly men, you said YOURSELF that this movement does not appeal to women, so wouldn't it make sense that women are not the majority in a movement that doesn't appeal to them.
other than that though, i really appreciate your effort to investigate as many ideologies as possible and to try to understand them, we need more people like you!

But isn't Christianity always about the struggles of light and dark? I mean in Genesis, the snake seduced Eve to eat that damned fruit, and by the end, there's a massive war in both the spiritual realm and the human realm as mentioned in the Revelations, it seems to me Christianity has always been more inherently Augustinian in nature than traditional in the sense of this video.

I'm Indian and I hate my heritage. The history is just nothing but endless weakness, inferiority complex, losing everything, being ruled by everyone. Really makes me hate myself and consider suicide actually. I just want to be anything other than indian, ANYTHING. give me anything else and I'll be happy. India's history is the worst history of all the countries on earth.

Men need to focus on being more Diest in nature and excel in establishing a moral and intellectual society akin to the values of its Diest Founders and their Masonic principles. IMO Jordan Peterson is losing his stoicism he seems to be an overemotional whiner these days and the alt right is the opposite of the founding fathers they are ignorant and lack any morals.
