You know why you don-t hear any stories about people surviving giant squid attacks? Because people don-t survive a predation attempt by these things; ) considering how deep they usually live, if you-re unlucky enough to get tagged by one at the surface, you can bet it-s either sick or dying. But that doesn-t mean it-s not hungry. Prey is very rare at the depths they usually haunt, so a free human flesh snack would not be refused, I think. Much like sick and injured sharks go after humans because we-re much slower than seals, I-d wager sick and injured squid do the same thing.
A lot of people go missing in the ocean every year and no trace of them is ever found.
Imagine wading out for a midnight swim and feeling something cold and jelly-like wrap around your leg, then the stinging bite of a thousand little claw teeth. A sudden tug into choking dark that fills your lungs with cold pain, and your last few minutes of oxygen spent feeling every agonising bite of that razor beak, as it strips muscle from bone. Enough to fuel your nightmares!

The human body is super SUPER weak, I mean it-s so fragile that a freaking piece of paper can cut our skin, we run really slow, have no claws beaks or sharp teeth to defend ourselves, so in the wild we are such an easy prey, that-s how life is, ur body is as weak as a leaf, even the sun can -damage- you, human skin is the only thing that lets the sun damage it, I know you-d probably say, oh ye well we have smart brains, but once we get put in the wild our weak body would kill itself

Well being attacked by anything in any environment is pretty terrifying especially when it is more capable activity in an environment.
Anything large under the sea would scare the crap out of me.
Subnautica, while a video game still pushes the alert buttons somehow. The threat is fake, but it lurks in my mind as something very real.
The ocean is both beautiful and terrifying.

In a situation where your being attacked by a giant squid you want to do everything in your power hit it with your fist and legs try get free and immediately swim for your life to shore, you certainly not going get away from that unscathed specially tentacles have razor sharp claws if it's got a good hold you your more likely screwed

You won't be able to escape, it will grab you and you will stick on it's tentacle, now the squid will push you into it's mouth and yeah you'll slowly die. But actually there's no report yet that a human got eaten by a giant squid, in ancient time they said these creatures attack boats.

Wouldn-t being near the sperm whale also kill you? Their sounds can either make your lungs explode or form a air bubble in your brain. And at THAT point you don-t have to worry about which shoes are going to be in your casket cause it-s going to be closed.

I saw video of divers being attacked by Humbolt squid( Dosidicus gigas) and those things would latch on and dive stright down. And they where only like 4 or 5 feet long. giant Squid (Architeuthis dux) is double that. Soo. yeah you wouldn't last long.

It's even worse if it's the colossal squid, attacked instead. This creature have rotating hooks, instead of suction cups on thire tentacles. Also slightly larger in size, of course the sperm whale also hunt this creature for food.

Your death in this situation would be quick because you would drown very soon after being dragged hundreds of feet underwater. Of course, drowning is an agonizing way to die but it is relatively quick.
