7: 00 Axl Rose's habit of turning up very late caused all kinds of problems. My BF worked on the tours, and Axl regularly only turned up over an hour late, which meant the band had to pay horrendous fines due to noise ordinance regulations, which were so expensive that the tour was often making a financial loss! Not to mention, concert goers leaving so late missed the last bus or train home (we are talking about Europe here) and either had to try to find a very expensive taxi to take them home, or walk, or even had to get a hotel room for the night. My BF drove a truck, so of course the concert ending so late delayed the packing up and loading all the rigging, lighting gear, speakers, amps, sound desk and all the other musical equipment into the trucks, so everyone was bone-tired and annoyed. It also made them late getting to their next venue and so on, it was just a major headache for everyone involved - and all he had to do to avoid all this was turn up on time! Imagine the arrogance Axl must have had to inconvenience literally thousands of people, time and time again, and making all his bandmates lose out on all the money, 100, 000s they should have earned for every concert, just to prove that he was so important that he could make everyone wait around for him. Just shocking behaviour.

What Eddie Van Halen could never understand (or maybe accept) was that David Lee Roth truly was the face of Van Halen. He had this magical stage presence, and made everything sound better. Sammy did a good job, but didn't have that magic touch (nor could he do a back flip )

2: 47 The song Dreams by Fleetwood Mac was covered by another one of my favorite bands The Corrs on their album Talk on Corners.
Talk On Corners is the highest-selling album ever by an Irish act and the best-selling album in the UK in 1998.

The recounting of Guns N Roses break up is completely incorrect. The firing of Steven Adler, and then Izzy quitting during the Use Your Illusion tours did a lot more damage than the festering animosity between Axl and Slash to the classic line up.

Sooo Surprised that they didn't do the Beatles Figured thats who they was gonna finish with! (Not a big Beatles fan myself) but their break up was the biggest thing since sliced bread! It even took more press than the Apollo 13 mission! Lol

6: 19 On the soundtrack for The Graduate, it includes five songs by Simon & Garfunkel, with the first and last song being Sounds of Silence.
I am dressing up as The Graduate this Halloween and will be playing the soundrack on a boombox.

Surprised no Beatles coverage, the most successful band of all time where the members basically ended up hating each other by the end, Ringo and George both quit before returning before the band officially broke up, with tons of drama over years.

This was very good but I would love to hear the story behind what broke up Boston. You might have already done a video with them but I can't recall. I guess there would be a ton of materiel for this subject so, get busy.

0: 34 Founding Eagles member Randy Meisner is from Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
One of my friends from elementary school ending up moving to Scottsbluff and went to the same high school he attended.

at least with the ones where a band member passed away, they were able to mend whatever issues they had with each other. Not good mentally when things go unresolved and no way to hash everything out.

1: 35 When referring to a commitment someone is pondering, I often say (jokingly) We are like the Hotel California. You can check-out any time you like, but you can never leave!

10: 11 I remember how big of a film Twister (1996) was when it came out!
I graduated high school two years to the day after that film was released.

It s amazing how Fleetwood Mac had band members writing bitter breakup songs about each other and then making them sing the songs about themselves.

Where's Pink Floyd in all this? Their break up was long, protracted and Waters and Gilmour still seem to hate each other even now.

I think we would all like to know what broke up the J. Epstein band. Horrible music but still, inquiring minds want to know.

Breakups are tough, but without a break up, we can't get the 'We're gettin' the band back together! ' montage in the biopic, so.
