Romantic chemistry is all about warm, gooey feelings that gush from the deepest depths of the heart. right? Not quite. Actually, the real boss behind attraction is your brain, which runs through a very quick, very complex series of calculations when assessing a potential partner. Dawn Maslar explores how our five senses contribute to this mating game, citing some pretty wild studies along the way. Lesson by Dawn Maslar

It's funny because it's often looked down upon, or perhaps not taken as seriously (even by me, but by this logic the purest relationships would actually be one's that start online or even more through anonymous site based interaction, as if a relationship forms only through an exchange of words, it means attraction is based fully on and through personality aspects, and no other depreciating factors. What a time to be alive.

Love has nothing to do with attraction, nor can science explain it. Up to age 29, I was typical, both physically and romantically attracted to women. Then I experienced a religious conversion and prayed to remove carnal impurity. Now, at 35, I have ZERO attraction to anyone- none at all. It's not biological. I have big shoulder and back muscles and a bushy beard. God is greater than your laboratories.

I just hate having crushes because I would rather crush on myself, or no one tbh. How come I cant live my life without attraction? How come I have to have feelings for people? It doesnt make any sense.

I saw in brain games that people with similar faces get attracted towards them but here you say women get attracted towards different MHC molecules I find these experiments conflicting. please explain

Imo, the core element of relationships is 'dependency'.
This is one of the basic flaws of the divine design, and humans can fix it.
To start with, please do not depend on living beings.

Omg! I really liked this guy I met on tinder. But after the first kiss, I couldn't stand him anymore because his breath was bad. It was so weird!

Can someone give me a ovulating woman's shirt which has been worn for 3 straight days so I can smell it and then get more testosterone.
