video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
Humans, octopi and pine trees alike are all made up of cells, tiny but sophisticated systems that keep life going. Cells are almost like tiny factories run by robots, with the nucleus, DNA, proteins, lipids, and vitamins and minerals all playing critical roles. George Zaidan and Charles Morton lay out the blueprint of a cell and explain how biochemistry binds all life together. Lesson by George Zaidan and Charles Morton

We read it in secondary school. What was exclusive here?
After becoming humans, we hv many more challenges than frogs, tadpoles etc.
What was rating for this TED TALK?
Why title is operating system of life.
Making duplicate factory does not make profits double.
Any one who believes that, must check sales figures n profits of malls. May be provision shop, movie theatr, and food court do business and net figure is positive.
I could not understand purpose of this video. Can anyone explain? In easy english. In nutshell.

Man Biology is so interesting! When I studied Biology, biochemistry was my favourite part, the glycolysis process, the copying of gene, protein synthesis all those stuff.
But the need to memorise made Biology something I couldnt handle. Too many terms, too many proteins, too many processes! It was interesting but I had to let Biology go!
So now I am majoring in Industrial Chemistry, and so far so good: ) Seeing these kind of videos made me miss Biology but yeahh

it was more like making of duplicate factory, by copying operating system of factory.
it does not look like operating system of life. may be, only office time.
diplicating factory itself depends on demand of product.

Biochemistry the movie was more entertaining than Biochemistry the degree. Not as informative perhaps, but more entertaining, that's for sure! :)
