Spoil (do not watch if you havn't watched the answer in the video)
This one was pretty easy, I was pretty confident about Vivlaid with 2nd clue (cause he was a religious, not really surprising he was involing in helping children), he was indeed known to be a great violin performer, being a priest as well. For RV, i didn't know really but i'm not surprised he didn't use opus number like romantic composers and later composers. The 500 concertos thing was one of the biggest clue, but didn't know that he wrote 46 operas that's pretty huge, and for the four seasons clue i hope everyone got it at this point.
So like 90 points if we can say and for the first clue i guessed Alfredo Casella. Should have just taken the most known italian composer that would have been far simplier)

They say that this composer did not write 500 Concerti;-- he wrote the same Concerto 500 times! He did so by using a -template-: 5 orchestral passages that would start and end the work, and 4 solo instrumental interventions sandwiched in between those passages. Totally recognizable in form and in style. A great formula for mass production, but not strictly adhered to by the composer.

-SPOILERS-
Well I did guess Vivaldi on question 1, but it-s pure luck of course. At that point it could easily have been any Italian composer! When the operas were mentioned, I started to be concerned that it was Verdi or Puccini.

reply

1. Giochinno Rossini, Niccolo Paganini, Verdi, Vivaldi
3. Niccolo Paganini, Vivaldi
4. Antonio Vivaldi
I think I got 70 points there, was the answer Antonio Vivaldi, known as The Red Priest?

reply

We guessed Verdi. Second guess would have been Diabelli - after clue no. 2. Anyhow... 100 points! :D This is fun indeed!!!
