Excellent video. On it you can see all the nations of the Balkans, which have been for 400 years. fought to free themselves from the Ottoman occupation. Of course, there are no Albanians there, who came with the Turks and created their own country with the help of Austria-Hungary, only when they saw that the Ottomans were finished. They built a state on other people's victims and they still say that they are Illyrians? Hahhahaaa. you can't make up history, it's already written! A deep bow to all the fallen real Balkans - Bulgarians, Serbs, Greeks and Montenegrins, who gave their lives for a free Balkan from the Ottoman occupation! GLORY TO THEM!

4 bulgarian soldiers enter the city of kavala and bluff that if dont give the city enormous bulg army hidden in the forest will invade and defeat quickly the turkish forces inside and it worked the commanding officer gave his sword and pistol to one of the four who happened to be one of the most decorated bulgarian poets peio iavorov. they couldnt believe what was happening and the city fell in our hands but later stolen by the backstubbing greedy lazy greeks

Great video. Thank you. Just to mention that the reason for entering the ottomans into Europe was the black plaque which killed most of Europe and probably the most ppl that died were on the Balkans. Bulgaria was defending the path to Europe for centuries so that leaded to easy victories into those regions. Even the scout groups of the ottomans were entering villages and taking land without and problems.

Nationalism is what makes the Balkans so disunited and brings so much hatred to one another today. I know our countries have past grievances but it's not our (today's generation) fault. I live in Greece, I love my Slavic, Albanian and Turkish neighbors, I hate our politicians and expansionists, I hope we all start learning from the past and finally live in peace.

In 5: 50 there is no indication that Bulgarians and Serbs liberated Adrianople together. The Serbian voivoda Gavrilovich and his unit were the first to enter the city and received the surrender of the Turks. Serbs and Bulgarians wanted to go to Istanbul together, but Great Britain and other major powers prevented this politically.

We in the Balkans are small nations, but feisty ones lol just take my small country of Bosnia for example. until this day neighbors are dreaming of dividing us and taking the territory, they wrote history that suite them, trying to deny our identity, culture, and yet here we are 1000+ years letter lol

The Bulgarians were in a position to get the Grand Prize, the Eternal City of CONSTANTINOPLE and put them in the Top Position to drive deeper into Anatolia. Instead they turned on the Christian Orthodox Allies and tried to wrestle Macedonia and Thessaloniki from them.
