Dad was a Ford guy and so am I. My first car at 18 was a '68 Mustang GT 390, 4spd. Green like Bullit's. Such a heavy-duty clutch, my left leg, I started looking like an Olympic speed skater. Took me 3 days to learn how to launch it without burning 10 feet of rubber! -

I owned a 68' mustang with a 302 boss. Blue with black rally stripes. It would pull the front wheels. Definitely needed the traction bars cause it burnt up tires. Nice ride for a 16 year old kid in 1975. I loved that car!

My first car I bought was a 65 mustang fast back. It was in 74 and I paid $900 from a lot. Turquoise with pony interior and the 289 hi po. Still driving a mustang but I miss that car.

TERRIBLE paint on the 3 generation-owned '67. it's like they let a 10yr old design the -racing-stripes- lol. it was a solid car, MAACO could have done a better job

Just like the announcer at Irwindale Drag strip in 1970 said about my 69 Mustang 428 CJ, Look at that Ford smoke! Because my Brother in Law floated it.

Unless things have changed, the very best part about the Shelby museum in Las Vegas is that it's free!
