I found a couple of remote controls from old toys, with 4 button, and an extendable antenna, instead of an IR. Do you have an instructional video on how to repurpose this type of remote? I have a total of 3, and can send you 1 for testing, and to keep if interested. They are really cool remotes, hense the reason I want to repurpose them.

I really want someone to write code without a library decoding IR signals cause it seems impossible for the Arduino in anyway to see the 1 and 0 bursts but it's easy to read them yourself on an oscilloscope no doubt

I made it but i have a problem. I found an ir receiver from an old crt tv and it works but it has so short range. About 10 to 20cm. Is it the foult of the ir receiver or something else. Pls help

This is the problem with my TV remote when I use it, it changes my LED lights, the when I use the LED light remote the colours have changed then it makes new colours

Holy crap I didnt know this! I have a tv in my room and when I change the volume my lights changed color and I thought someone was trolling me lol

Do you have a fix if the tv remote does it automatically? I have the Roku remote and it reacts to the led strips on the wall
