Those UV curable resin glues are good in theory but in practice they have a major flaw in the fact that a majority of the patch of glue you are trying to light with the UV light is typically kind of being covered by whatever You are trying to glue together and of course the light is not nearly powerful enough to penetrate that deep and cause it to properly and fully harden leading too many scenarios where the glue on the outside is properly hardened but the glue inside is still gooey and not fully cured

UV resin is the best for glueing coperwire to glass or glass to glass. You could in theory use super glue, but that tends to break and affects the glass surface. The downside of UV resin is that UV light needs to penetrate to cure the glue or it will forever be a liquid. Trying to glue 2 metal pieces with UV-resin is definitely a no go

The fnirsi dso tc3 I have, has the same scope but for the rest of this 3in1 tool it isn't spectacular, and it's tad bit expensive.
I was hoping greatscott would compare this 20 Oscilloscope with the other cheap ones he may still have like shown in the past vids.

That GPS thingy isn't really a GPS. It takes positions from the cell towers, this way they can achieve a reasonable battery life, and bad precision. The real satellite GPS reception requires a lot more power and the trackers are seriously bulky because of that.

I don't believe that tracker actually uses GPS sigbals but instead uses the location of cellphone towers. The labelling is inaccurate. Better inexpensive trackers that genuinely use GPS are available. Look for a square GPS antenna on thr board to recignise them.

if you didn't know, GPS and all maps in China are intentionally extremely distorted. because of national security or something. You need some government approved key to undistort it or whatever.
perhaps this is the reason why the accuracy is so bad.

UV Glue is actually very good for sticking new copper traces to a PCB. Like the UV Mask that is regularly used. The only caveat is that you need to glue the copper trace from above by covering it and the surrounding area, not expect it to bind below the trace.

it's my understanding that the best practice to use uv resin glue it's with transparent objects so uv light actually can cure resin or simply using it in the surface like protecting pcb pad or something. thanks for the video.

Damn, I might genuinely buy that little oscilloscope, like that variable power supply you showed off in a past video. That OLED screen is also a fantastic buy for cyberdeck builds too, 300mah draw is great.

im sure you will use the uvresin in the future, its amazing to protect circuits from water and outside weather, or just instead of conformal coating to hold some small wire down after you solder it.

Heck, velcro and cordless power tools are NASA technology. NASA spinoffs are everywhere in our society. Who kickstarted the mass production of integrated circuits That would be NASA.

technically, a lotta things we use nowadays was first designed by the US Military or NASA for their own internal benefit. The internet comes to mind.
So they are not wrong

The GF-07 uses 2g tower for location altho there are GF-09 GF-21 GF-22 and these higher models have accurate Gps location tracking
and even parameter alert and all.

1: 52 The first product ever in this series that gets a thumbs down without testing it first. But it's right because it's nowhere near that what it claims.

UV risen is super common stuff in hobbies like Model building and mini painting. Shows up in some jewelry work too. not usually used as a glue though.

The GPS tracker doesn't even has a GPS receiver in the first place iirc, it only uses your mobile signal for location, it's just a complete scam.

The cell antennas that BigClive checked were similar. Some of them were slightly radioactive. You might want to throw them out sooner than later.

you didn't used uv glue where it supposed to be used. it is usefull where all surface can be exposed to uv. also you have infinite time to play.
