The question is more can you afford to move to Vancouver. Housing prices are insane with every property selling for above asking price due to bidding wars. There's a zero vacancy rate in the rental market due to declining rental stock as many properties have been torn down and replaced with condos. The rental board is a joke. Tens of thousands of people live in illegal basement suites with no mail, no doorbell and only one exit. Goods and services are more expensive and there is less variety compared to back east. People are not friendly except in a superficial way. It's a very classist society. All the systems are illogical and badly organized. Basically 20 years behind Toronto, Montreal etc. The summers are dry with all the grass turning yellow and water shortages that restrict your use. Winters are mild but dreary and ceaselessly grey. Proper vegan grocery stores are actually few and far between despite Vancouver's reputation. The ocean and mountains are the only real attraction. I would advise people to really consider their options and focus on their priorities before making a decision.

Filming a school doesn't prove you went there and it certainly doesn't prove Shaolin-Do is real Gung Fu.
You said before that Shaolin-Do wasn't the only art you studied. So why is it instead of answering who your teachers were you decide to block the person instead of answer them? Is it because you can't think of a clever lie and would rather hide their question?
And why is it you only recorded the outside of the school and not a class? Did it have anything to do with one of the higher ups cursing you out as a fraud?
One day you are going to be in a session with someone you think has a Shaolin-Do background like you but then they'll trip you up, on camera, asking you questions you can't answer without admitting you lie. So watch your back when you collab and your guest has a camera too. Never know who it might be.

YES! If you don't want to live in the U. S, leave-which I know by now, you did! -. Wow, that was harsh. my bad! I just started watching your videos and I like them, even started back tracking old episodes. I know it's to late, but I wish you hadn't put so much thought & so many comments into -leaving the U. S. - like you hate It, it's really not that bad and it is kinda insulting to us Americans. Just my opinion!

I-m only 7: 46 minutes into this video and I had to stop to say that you both are so beautiful! Beautiful as a couple but the thing that struck me the most was the way you both are so uniquely individual but so meshed together in love that it was so beautiful to see. I hope what I-m trying to articulate into words makes sense lol thank you for sharing this journey with us and as a fellow Canadian you make us proud Jake! Welcome back home!

Sorry, you don't get off the hook w/clams, mussels, etc. ;) More animal than plant. But I occasionally eat small amounts of organic egg. so. if you believe you need a little animal protein from time to time (like our other primate cousins who eat 2-4% of their diet animal products (mostly eggs and insects. and don't want to harm an animal. there's that option.

It is beautiful on Canada. I grew up in Illinois across the street from lake Michigan. I grew up planting and growing things with my grandparents. I would go to the lake and fish. Beautiful. accept for the winter which was 7 months out of the year. Once i left i settled in Florida and California, where its warm. If you can stand cold, no place prettier then Canada.

I live in Vancouver it's one of the most expensive city in the world and every year the cost keeps going up utilities, insurance, taxes, and others. Its getting really crowded here and use to be you could enjoy hikes without seeing many people but now its crowded. Most people raised here moved away to the suburbs due to rental costs.

YOWZA! This is the link, the connection I feel towards you guys: martial art! I started with Judo then switched to Taekwondo! Thus the closeness to Earth and spirituality we have! That's great (Full disclosure: almost a year ago my wife & I tried going vegan but I bailed out after a week. She is still vegan)
