FALLING IN LOVE WITH BRITISH COLUMBIA - Is This Our New Home? Bernadette: After 12 years in Van, Id like to recommend a few things. 1-Museum of Anthropology at UBC, The Aquarium in Stanely park and the lynn canyon suspension bridge is amazing for day hikes, just be careful near the water, it can move very fast. Commercial drive has tons of diverse food from all over. I think youll fit right in to BC. Just take iodine and dont pick up garbage on the beach. North Van is amazing and there was a beautiful Aikido place you may want to check out, climbing is amazing and its easy to catch a bus to horseshoe bay and be a foot passenger on the ferries. They travel everywhere and you can go on a mini cruise for under 30. anyhoo nice to see your well and survived traveling abroad. love the vids

I spend 1. 5 years in the lower mainland about 1 hour from Vancouver. Did some traveling around and B. C. Is a beautiful provice. BC means Bring Cash. I returned to my stomping ground on the east coast, went to University, got what they call a real job and hated it other then some great people I met along the way. A terrible way to live. My advice is don't loose sight of your dreams and what really makes you tick. The best way not to get side track is don't become a slave to debt especially debt that depreciates. Good luck with your indeveours. Lostcaper. ca.

Still looking for another country? It doesn't matter where you live but who you live with it. Even if it is Siberia on a cold winternight. If you're still not satisfied, well Nicole it's time to leave. I hate to say it, but if you're always on the hunt for better than you're not stable and I strongly recommend you to find out a place where you want to live and makes you happy before you get a relation. Sure it might work out, but in a lot of cases it won't.

Does she have to have a passport? He is from Canada but she is not. Can they own property, maybe under his name. Wonder how that works with the 8 acres they now have in Vancouver Island.
Book exchange is nice but most cities people would steal them all.
People say it the cost of living is real high there?

Fun fact, that house you're staying in is worth 2. 5 million. That little basement suite is worth 800k. Jake you waited too long to come back, unless you have a widget factory in China best to come over to Vancouver Island, where property is still affordable for Canadians.

BC is great if you like rain. Victoria is a wet zone 9 but land is expensive. Farther north is zone 8 to 7 all along the coast. In land is the okanagan zone 6 in the prairies in Alberta in the foothills is zone 4
