My apartment patio is only 10x13 and I have several kinds of kale, spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, eggplants, collards, chard, peas, carrots, rue, beets, radishes, Rosemary, basil, lemon verbena, several kinds of green onions, garlic, thyme, sage, oregano, lemon balm, dragon fruit, and a fig tree and a moringa tree. Some of my many peppers are on my neighbors patio, we share an herb wall and I also have two huge artichoke plants with nasturtiums spilling over just outside my patio wall. Seriously, no excuses. - -

Ever thought of doing indoor garden? I am in Northern Wisconsin on Lake superior and am trying to grow anything i can indoors with a large north to south window. So far I have a pomegranate tree, 2 banana trees and a few blood orange and lemon seedlings I need to replant. Just wondering if you've given any thought on that.

Our garden is 5 years old and last summer we had so many peppers and tomatoes that I filled up our freezer with them. I made sauces and salsas and we only watered like 6 times because of the woodchips as mulch. We also had several cucumbers, the best herbs. I am just waiting for spring to start again. It is worth all the work of it.

Funny that just two years later what you said here came true. People fighting in the stores over toilet paper, hand sanitizer, canned goods. Stocking those items and hiking up the prices. And the result being more insane inflation because of demand over supply and the government giving out free -money- for 2 years.

My thoughts on everyone going vegan, I disagree for the fact that if no one was eating meat there would be over population of animals that eat the same plants that you do. I am not bashing vegans, I respect your views this is just mine and I love meat and all the vegan foods do look good.

Population unfortunately will be decreasing if Monsanto has their way. That is why we all need- kitchen gardens. Grow dandelions.
