Here s Why Cadillac is the Most Reliable Luxury Car John: Cadilacs are overpriced junks that cost a fortune. Might as well get a cheaper Impala or Malibu from GM, or better yet don't buy GM.
I have a friend who made a bigger mistake buying one used, the whole thing was malfunctioning and breaking down within a year. I think the speedometer was shot and even brakes started to fail.
It was a disaster.

V6 Cadillac FTW!
My mom has a 2005 CTS 3. 6L, great car. 180K miles and turns on and runs like new still. Bought at 95K miles, one bad injector so i put all new injectors at 140K, one bad coil so i put all new coils at 155K, Fuel filter at 120K, shifter linkage (bushing) at 160K, and about to replace the engine and trans mounts (doesn't really need them, but it feels a bit sloppy, HID ballast and lights replaced at around 130K, that's it. All the work done myself with quality parts and spent around 600 in total, half that just being the lights. Obviously breaks and other consumables aside
NOW! my dad had a 2004 SRX 4. 6L V8, all of the problems you can imagine but the radio never failed. Design flaw makes the valve train fall apart and it was easier replacing the entire engine (twice) and it only got to 170K miles with engines from 60K mile trucks. NorthStar engines might be great new, never last. you would think Audi U. S. made them.

had a 2013 CTS-V that was rock solid reliable, and an ATS-V that was the same. These cars have split personalities. They drive very easy like a commuter car when you want to, but putting it into one of the PTM modes turns it into a ridiculously aggressive tack car that outperformed the M3 and AMG C63. I had no trouble with either car, and both retained their value better than the competing german models. When you put 50k, 70k, or even 100k+ on a car like that where you are using it as both a daily driver and hammering it at the track you are going to find weaknesses and expect failures but the only thing that required any additional attention was brake pads. The V community is small, and their experiences are similar. I'd say Cadillac earns a little more respect than is given. It's not the days of the early N star motors anymore

Ok repeating myself, own 2010 CTS 3. 6 AWD Bought new in the end of 2010 when the dealers were having problems. bought a 54. 000 car for 34. 000 had 76 miles on it. Brakes the battery. Change oil every 5000 miles. 76000 miles on it. Drove it back and forth to work. That s it. Yes drive for a living, ate driving unless I m getting paid.
point being I m lucky no issues yet. If I can get another year and 1/2 I m golden. Retirement car will be a Lexus made in Japan. Fact.
Lucky I m guess

A SMART buyer would buy a used Cadillac once the value has dropped by 50% then buy an extended bumper to bumper warranty and your set. ALL NEW CARS HAVE ISSUES IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT'S A HONDA, TOYOTA, ACURA OR AMERICAN car my 2003 Accord coupe V6 EXL I bought it with almost 100k on it and had no problems but that was 13 years old and it would have cost to much to bring it into the new era

One of my favorite cars was a Caddilac 1975 sedan deville still had a working 8track player. All the power windows, seats and A/C still worked. It came from Beeville Texas. It was a CEO perk car for Coca Cola. Don't have the car anymore but, I still have the original warranty card.

I bought a new Dodge Charger in 1973, and it is the worst car I have ever owned. It broke down on the Interstate while on my way home three times before it was two years old. I finally unloaded that thing, and have dodged ever since. I really like my reliable Toyota Avalon.

Can anyone tell me if I m getting ripped off. so I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata limited. And it recently died on me two days ago. And I towed it to a shop and they told me it was my fuel pump. And they cause replace it for 920. Idk if I m getting ripped off for that or not

Scotty I have a question, I am looking on getting a new truck, I always keep my trucks 10+ years. I need a supercrew 4x4 truck, and I am not sure if I should get an F-150 with a V8, or if I should get a Tacoma. There is only a 1000 difference between the two.
