I bought a new 2016 Ford Focus SE Hatchback in 2016. Unfortunately, it happened to be one of the Focus' that shuttered and shook from a standstill. After research a few years later I discovered that the vibrations and transmission's difficulty to shift from a standstill was the result of a faulty clutch. After dealing with this problem for such a long time I decided to have it looked at, totally forgetting that it was covered under the 60k warranty. I was reminded to do this when I received a letter on the class action lawsuit two months ago here in 2020. The clutch was replaced free of charge, since the mileage was over 30k. Now, the transmission works like it should. I'm happy with the car and thoroughly enjoy driving it.

Hey scotty i have a 2016 focus i got it with 57 miles, at 500 miles i had problems with the computer took them 3 times to correct it, since then that problem never came back, around 5k miles the transmission started acting up so i took it in countless times and they told me either it didnt do it for them when they test drove it or some other excuse, then later i found about that class action lawsuit, my car jitters and shudders on acceleration, has a hard time going up hills, you can hear the engine bog down its a mess. im gonna see what i can do about getting out of it cause i dont want a car thats defective, now i know why it was so easy to get into this car, sign some papers and drive off the lot.

Dear Scotty I would say this is not correct because my vehicle (infiniti qx70) shows all most accurate mpg. The only problem is people do not reset there mpg counter whenever refuel like we used to do for our trip metres in the olden days. I think the lady who asked you the question that her mpg is not changing even if she is on the highway or if she is in traffic. This is because there are two types of mpg readings in most of new cars. one is which changes as you are driving which shows your current mpg readings. The other is the complete mpg reading from the last reset of the same reading. Just thought it would be nice to share my experience. As i have and am learning lots from you Sir.

Only new truck i have ever had was a ford. Thing was garbage, looked nice but did not need one to look nice spent the money for the extended warranty. Toilet paper is worth more than a ford warranty cost a lot less also. One year old truck with 31 thousand miles and needs new ball joints. The mirrors just fell out of the frames. ford would do nothing. Fix or repair daily. If i won a new ford i would trade it for something else! I know you can get a lemon, but when you pay thousands of dollars for a warranty to cover that chance. you should make it right, you should do that without and extended warranty

3: 53 My friend is a professional wrapper. I asked him about thoughts on wrapping my car to Ferrari Red. He highly suggested me- just no. It isn't worth it unless you are wrapping it in camo or chrome and you really just want to pimp out your ride. So if you want a solid color or any kind (sparkly red, metallic red, etc)- paint is the way to go. Except patterns and chrome colors. and its only bc chrome paint doesn't last long anyways and is way more expensive so wrapping makes more sense.

Later in life I attended a local junior college. One of my favorite classes was business law, mostly because of the instructor Genna Vee Ratliff. She was dealt with treacherously by Citrus Ford in Upland, Calif. She sued. When she appeared in court it was David and Goliath all over again. Ford sent out attorneys from Dearborn, Michigan as well as a few from here in southern California, five in all. She prevailed. Quite a lady!

Scotty what do you think of the 2019 Ranger 2. 3 eco boost as well as the 10 spd transmission which is the only engine and trans Ford offers! It makes me a little nervous! I will not go with Chevy or GMC THEY ARE A TOTAL DISASTER! I have owned FORDS for the past 25 years and have been happy with the service but with the new technology I not a fan of turbocharged engines period our the new multi spd automatic transmission!

Henry Ford is rolling over in his grave. I have seen with my own eyes multiple Ford Foci spontaneously blow up just driving normal down the road. By blow up, I mean the valves dropping down from the heads and hitting the pistons and ruining the engines. Just all of a sudden. If they made it to 100, 000 miles it was a miracle. Junk, trash, Junk.

Good afternoon Scotty. I was showing my wife a few of your videos from 12 years ago. She said you sound exactly the same. Your voice is timeless! She thought that it was wild to see you without your glasses. Remember that video with that officer and the seatbelt machine? Thanks for the best quality content on the internet.
