Great video! I love the way you get straight to the information! Some people will talk and tell us the whole background story and spend fifteen minutes telling us unimportant information. I never understood why people do that. Also they will repeat themselves three four maybe five times. They dont understand that its a video and they dont need to repeat themselves since we can rewind the video if we missed anything. Lol

I just did the lower ball joints on my 04 SSR. The 23 piece kit form Advance Auto Parts needed to customize the adapters. I watched this & several videos on this repair. I tried all the tips & short cuts? After 2 runs back to Advance for a 23 piece kit that had all the adapters. Right side took 2 days. Left side took 15 minutes. Thanks for your instructional post.

I'm not going to read through 1. 5k comments so this may have been said, but you could had installed it with the C clamp the same way you took it out, with the bolt on the top side. Where you are turning the black bolt does not determine if the ballpoint will go in or not, it's what you are pushing on and what is able to move.

So to access the ball joint, you took a lot off to be able to work on it (brakes, knuckle, etc.
Would it have been less or about the same amount of work to just remove the lower control arm? Assuming you can get the bolts off to get the arm off with relative ease.

I've been looking at YouTube how-to videos for years and this is up there in my top 10 for concise and easy to understand, good job my man. Now I wish I had YouTube when I was rebuilding a 67' Mustang in the early 90's.

This may sound like a dumb question but should I put grease into the ball joint to improve longevity of the joint right off the bat?
