New 630hp Audi RS6 review!

This is the all-new Audi RS6 Performance! Audi has updated the oh-so popular RS6 for 2023, and Mat s about to find out just what has changed over the previous edition. Starting with the design, the changes over the previous generation are minor - but that s no bad thing! Across the front, back and sides, what was previously chrome trim has now changed to Matt grey, and the Audi badge at the front has now been blackened out. The car also comes with 22-inch alloys as standard. But otherwise, that s all that s changed! However, should you choose to go for the carbon pack, then the matt grey trim can be swapped to carbon instead. Step inside and it s a similar story to the exterior design. You ll now find alcantara on the steering wheel, as well as blue stitching across the seats and seatbelts. You ll also find some slightly updated dials and some additional tech, such as surround view camera, but otherwise the RS6 Performance is the same as the previous generation. However, one area that has experienced quite a big change is the car s performance! Although it comes with the same 4-litre twin-turbo V8 as before, it s had bigger turbos fitted to it. As a result, horsepower and torque have been increased by 30hp & 50Nm respectively, meaning the car now produced 630hp and 850Nm! But of course, all these changes don t come cheap. The Audi RS6 Performance starts at 20, 000 more than the previous edition, meaning you ll be paying from 113, 000 to pick one up! So is it worth it? You ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!

only problem with this RS6 just like BMW m5 and mercedes amg E are that they costs basically more then Tesla Plaid S which offers more HP (1020hp) and with that more performance&acceleration&speed and more advanced tech gadgets such as autopilot and similar things! only where is better this three are better interior and not spartanic as in Tesla cars with relative cheap materials and that shitty bigger tablet in middle of car! but somewhere Tesla must save money to give you 1020hp! if Rimac build something similar like Plaid S he would want at least million /euro /pounds for that

Just curious, why does Carwow often change the Colour of the Vehicle they review for the Thumbnail? Is there a Reason for that?
It is neon green in the Thumbnail but the Car Matt reviews is Red. I guess i don't understand why the Editor bothers to change the Colour.
Otherwise, great Video as usual!

I will tell you a story that you will not believe. It is said that there is a village, and it is rather big. There was a pile of stones in the center of the village, and the owner of the stones decided to build a large and luxurious house, but the stones gathered and became a house without the intervention of any human being. .

I absolutely love, l-o-v-e, LOVE this freaking car! If I won the lottery, I'd scoop it up in a heartbeat as the costs of longterm ownership would not be a concern. Until then, I'll happily keep my 500 and salivate about the RS6 from afar.

Matt you used to test so many cars we can think of buying, nowadays you only test this kinda too much for it kinda cars. I love drag races too but can you please test some logical cars, we miss your tests on them!

What is this fixation of anti rev limiters with Mat? Anyone who thinks revving a car to the redline at traffic lights either has the psychological profile of an imbecile or. well, there is no other reason.

The design of the A6 in general is pretty neat but this RS version just takes it one further in my opinion especially in that bright red. I think this is the perfect estate vehicle (in my opinion.

Please do all the performance test with rs7. Or do a drag race rs6 vs rs7 performance. Need to find the diff tho same engine and power it may effect differently cause of diff weight, and design

Its quick but BMW is on another level. The M5 competition which came out 5 years ago was pushing fractionally quicker times than this RS6 performance. BMW is on another level to its competition.

How's the quarter mile pretty much similar to a normal rs6? Judging from the last dragrace the rs6 perf has, i wanna know the dyno graph, seems like it runs out of puff on the top end

630 not bad how much does it cost? in these times we have hot hatches(hyundai) that have 650 hp that don't cost a house but of course the audi has better looks no one denies it

Seriously Mat, you need to bring back the stick of truth even if it is just a stick. Especially on cars like Audi etc. they can really get a great roast.

I really prefer the vivid colors from the promo segment, makes Matt look youthful. The current video colors are super dull and washed out even.

Bigger turbos for 30 hp when the standard version with a light tune will do 700hp still a very quick car those wheels are stunning!
reply

I'm pretty sure a standard audi RS6 with simple tune can put way more power then this performance cash grab nonsense lol
