Tyres make a huge difference. But this is the choice that marques make when they build their cars. Would be good if they were a bit more professional and raced both cars in the same conditions, e. g. in the dry as well for a definitive result. I'm a huge GT-R fan, but admit, that factors such as weight and handling affect a car's ability to drive fast. IF the GT3 can been the GT-R in the dry, respect will be given where respect is due.

Everyone is here arguing over which dead serious supercar is better: the GT-R, or the GT3. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here dreaming of sliding about on a track in an F-type R, going extremely slowly but laughing so hard I overpower the roaring exhaust note. Life doesn't have to be serious all the time.

Weight is the enemy of the GTR. in wet or dry conditions. Hope the next one. the R36 should be at least 300 kg lighter. The GT3 will always be a specialist track car which could destroy any car. and its made for the road. Not a very realistic figure testing both cars in this kind of weather.

The Gtr is pure value for money. However, the Porsche is easier to drive, is better built, better to look at, and is more reliable than the Nissan. I reckon the Nismo edition would be much faster.

I totally expected this result. The GTR is a good car but totally overrated whereas the Porsche is totally underrated. Only someone who really knows cars knows how good Porsches are.

Yep, I guess the one I drove was a race car because it was a lot noisier than this one, have to get a go in a Paddle shift one, I'm prepared to admit I might be wrong, any offers! --

Actual Performance is over rated. isn't the 0-60mph spec sheet time, and how many cops ya can run over in Grand Theft Auto, how true performance cars should be measured?

Even a blind man could see the driver was just strolling with the Gtr and on the other hand floored the Gt3 and drove it hard. What a rubish comparison
