Performance coupes go head-to-head: BMW M4 vs. Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG RobWilli: Hear this out people. both machines are awesome aside from any specs. You have to realize at the end of the day, it's all about preference. I personally like the M4 exterior look but I can't say the C63 is bad looking, because it is not. Both are great and equal. Mercedes-Benz and BMW are equally awesome. I own BMW but my respect for Mercedes-Benz. Hell, if I get slightly richer, I'll own both brands. Stop the -fanboy- mentality and appreciate both machines and brands because they're a work of art. In the end, whatever car you pick, you won't go wrong.

The M4 is a good car but it's nothing close to a C63 507 AMG and honestly nothing beats a naturally aspirated and since this is a 507 it has 507 HP and 450 Torque and 6200 Rpm. Further more i own a 507 it's a beast honestly you don't get enough it and honestly it doesn't have any fancy technology has one hell of a engine, A master piece but one this that makes this car from being the best is its transmission other then that its a pleasure to drive or to have an AMG naturally aspirated 6. 2 Litre V8.

I don-t think you were in manual in that 507. there is a massive difference in shifts between sports+ and manual. Also the 507 is surely massively faster than stock - you would surely notice 10% power uplift in any car?
Glad you got the right conclusion though-The 507 makes you feel special simple as that. Any 507 owners out there. try cruising around at 3000rpm in 2nd manual mode when then engine is hot. Sounds like THUNDER!

This is by far, my the most favourite review of the 507, for years. I have finally purchased my own 507 today. And U know whats funny? It has exactly the same configuration as the one in video. Interior and exterior (except the steering wheel side. Its still one of the best cars you can get if you are considering the value for money. The german engeneering at its best and still affordable.

I love my c63, why would you want an inline 6 turbo when you can have a high revving, torquey v8 that sounds like gods coming? It handles beautifully, isnt too bad on fuel (28mpg on a 100 mile run. Comfortable, all the toys and with the lsd, shoots / slides out of corners nicely. I havent really had a issue with the 1655kg weight - its got the power and braking to overcome this!

BMW M4 is just better and more cooler overall. And if you really like C63 could just save your money and get the C300 Coupe for $40k and people will not be able to tell the difference.
Also I get car enthusiasts will be able to tell the difference but in reality nobody buys these cars to show off to the car enthusiasts.

Had both, in fact had M4 and 4 C63 w204-s in estate, coupe and saloon. C63 rules for me. Drama, noise, fun and smiles all day long. M4 is great but it-s too mechanical, all the excitement is done for you, just turn wheel and put foot down. C63 keeps you on toes: -)

Everyone in the comment section keeps talking about the big V8's and the inline 6 and sounds and this and that. and I'm sitting here in my behemoth bmw m5 e60 with a 6 speed manual listening to its beastly gurgle of a 5. 0L V10 straight piped.

this guys loves the c63 period. M4 is nicer and will buy it over the Mercedes for sure. Plus I don't wanna deal with the valves issue with the c63.

turbo saddens me, but at least electric cars have even better trottle response than NA cars. that's. something to look forward to.
