Theres no denying that electric cars are definately going to be the future of the auto industry. Even the most hardcore petrol engined speed fanatic will have to succumb to the ultimate superiority of electric/hybrid cars which are proving they can definately compete with their much more gas thirsty supercars that reigned upto now.
The 918 Spyder definately showed the auto world that a radical change was needed and they led the way. they showed that a powerful fast car need not have a thirsty massive petrol engine to race at high speeds. Soon we are going to see major auto makers reconsidering their future manufacturing strategies. Teslar is one bold example.
