Admittedly, this looks cool; it would be interesting to try an electric muscle car. But does it really need to be this big IMO, it is too long and too wide, just makes it harder to park, makes it too heavy and it will use more energy that way. On the other hand, I LOVE the hatch. Makes it super practical. I just think 4-door version is the way to go.

They got rid of the challenger branding due to how poorly recieved the concept challenger was. They knew it would kill the value of the challenger historically if they went forward with branding the electric 2 door a challenger. All marketing nonsense

Way too big and heavy. I thought my Polestar 2 was a chunker at nearly 4, 700lbs - this is another level. I'd love to see some more nimble performance EVs. You end up deciding between big power or reasonable weight w/ tepid performance.

The new front, especially headlight area, makes it look like a soulless appliance.
They should've hired a designer who did Hyundai Ioniq 5's design, he did a much better modern retro with a soul job with it.

What are the thoughts on the longevity of these super high strung engines This kind of output was previously reserved for such low volume engines that were super expensive to repair, and needed repairs often.

Those tires are going to be ridiculously high to replace and you’ll probably have to replace them once a year do to the weight of the car. Still trying to push electric cars down our throats.

While the purists/ die hard dodge fans will be mad, dodge/ Stellantis really had no other choice, I think the challenger name gets retired for nostalgia possibly

Based on those images, I don't know about the coupe. It's proportions are really ungainly but the 4 door is going to sell like Girl Scout Cookies at a smokeshop.

Interior is neat. Hatch is useful and makes it kinda like a huge covered el Camino. Exterior design is absolutely hideous though. Looking forward to a facelift.

Dodge just made me wet my pants. I'll be interested to see the gasoline cars next year before making a decision. My pick will be 2 door hatchback gasoline

Why cant they hybrid the 3. 0t, like no one wants the ev, but a hybrid 3. 0t would be a gold mine. Same for the ram, grand cherokee and wagoneer

Should do a series hybrid as well. Keep the rear motor from the EV and toss a small combustion motor up front and do a smaller battery pack.

Haven't seen a coupe door that long since the 'ol Cordoba. Looking forward to the tech being put in a Durango or equivalent.
