This is the Florida part of my east coast road trip done in real-time. Hey Unk! One of my favorite drives here! Wish you would've taken A-1A from JAX to St. Augustine and cross the newly redone Bridge of Lions! At any rate, I digress, lol. My imagination runs wild here on your video just past the St. Augustine exit ( 1: 08: 45 ) and I see the thick swamp forest of Cypress trees and thick undergrowth and to think of what Ponce de Leon had to greet him and his explorers basically once they stepped off those ships! I can only imagine the 1st man's encounter with a 'gator in those swamps was hell! Drive Safe!

Great video. Long, but I like it that way-real time. I don't know if I would watch it one sitting but it would be great to watch in parts, maybe leave running all day to check from time to time and see where the car was. Being from Jacksonville originally, the locations are very familiar to me and I have driven on the same road. It is nostalgic and comfortable watching this. Thanks for your work and time in making this video.

Hey buddy. Another amazing video. I see in one a response to someone’s comment that you might be considering doing a New York to California drive. This interests me greatly as I’ve always wanted to do what I call my own version of the Canonball Run. Love to see what you do with it, maybe we could be your Captain Chaoses! That would be one hell of a trip though. Thanks for all your uploads.

Yay new video! My favorite thing to do is listen to radio stations local to the places in this video as I watch the video. I've been mapping my favorite radio stations from each place. Currently listen to Jacksonville FM radio until you drive out of range from that in the video. Feels like I'm there.

Thanks for the video. At least i can "visit" States sitting in my home in Poland, Europe (270km east from Berlin. I got two questions: What cam did you use (exact model) and the map on the left top corner and data bootom-left - is it internal software of your cam or you put it manually

Seems like you do alot of driving to get to the tourist trap part of Key West before you go to more sane areas of it. It's the furthest point south you can go in the lower 48 and I can't imagine having to live there in that cramped space with only one way in and one way out.

I drove non-stop (save for using restrooms and gas) from Georgia all the way down to the Keys. It has been almost 2 years since the last time I did it. It is my favorite road trip. It is not that much fun going back. I wish I was able ($$$) to spend whole of winter down there.

Hello UC, also a perfect video of you. Congratulation. Florida has a lot of traffic unlike Maine, LOL

I watched this one for the second time now: ) just finished and stunned by the last 15 or 20 minutes. Key West looks like a really pretty city with a lot of interesting buildings. Great place to take pictures, I'm sure. Thanks again and take care.

Thanks for the video. I have driven through almost half of the continental states. Yet this drive to Key West and back was my co-favorite all time along with Route 1 from SF to LA. I would do these 2 routes anytime again.

What have they done to the Key West. It looks like you need to buy a house by the sea to see the sea. Otherwise it’s all buildings. Gone totally the original beauty of the Key West - Hemmingway’s Key West.

Driving in your country is much better. Today in the netherlands everything goes back from 130kmh to 100 kmh. lower speed. for a clean climate. one day i leave my country

Nice video, even though I am not a fan of Florida. I’m a fan of the pacific western part of the USA. I’m a California resident. I love these cross country videos.

I used to live in Jacksonville but now live west of St. Augustine, and have often thought of taking this particular trip. just not in August. One of these days, maybe

I'm on my 3rd watching. Sometimes, these days, you need to get away from twitter and go for a drive through blue sky sunshine Florida.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this entire trip from Maine to Key West. Ty so much for the long real time road trip videos.

I 95 is such a boring drive in Florida! Florida city to Key west is nice tho! You should do a trip and take A1A the whole way.

i think the map on the top left kind of takes away from the view, maybe have it only up for a moment and not all the time
