I head out to my second Bushcraft Camp Badger's Rest with my Dad. I split some wood with my axe and knife, got the campfire going with a firesteel and some birch bark and we cooked up some pancakes on the grill. Dad also made a new addition to this camp, watch on to find out what it is. Watch ALL of my Bushcraft Videos

Brilliant at the end dude, been waiting for this, like the screen, need a taller one for the ladys, or is that men when their standing? Has he thought about building it in the live ferns not in the clearing lol. Another thing, i want to film the arty stuff, like you and others do, but with less of waffle and less of kinda trying to teach, and just getting on with it, did you find it easy to learn editing when you were having your first goes? is this you tube/ editing thing easy or hard? because im finding problems everytime i try to do stuff. i know what i set out to do but theirs always issues, like footage not storing properly or no memory. Im realising now people have quite a bit of gear to film with and all the gadgets, i cant afford most of it. should i stick at it or do i make a fool of myself? i really want to learn this editing. and learn it myself. did you start out wth quite good equipment or just phones, i know some people did and others didnt. Bush craft breakfast for me. using my Kelly Kettle with Hobo stove attachment, I saute some chopped mushrooms and diced chorizo, then add baked beans. With a nice cup of coffee, it's a great meal. Sometimes I crack an egg over the beans, letting it cook sunnyside up with the heat from the beans. The Kelly Kettle is just an amazing low effort, low impact, leave-no-trace set up.

Loving that depth of field, and the inclusion of a few super close ups. Keeps things interesting and makes it more emersive. Serious blade envy with your knife set up. Almost deserves its own little video with lots of slow mo's, super close ups, etc. Go the piklets Big love to you and your dad my brotha

Awesome footage as always. You and your dad rock. Love his mug (: my favorite breakfast is oatmeal, easy and quick to fix. In a pinch you can let it soak in cold water and eat it. Ready biscuit mix is also nice and quickly done over fire. You two keep it up. I immensely enjoy your videos.

Just a couple of tips you may like, when using your saw, put your left hand THROUGH the saw to stop it jumping out of the cut and hitting your hand (something I learnt the hard way, and remember to use the whole length of the blade, not just half of it, Take it easy and keep up the awesome videos

Superb Mike as always. Great to see your dad out with you. You need to get back here to Hereford to catch those fish that you left in the Wye during your last visit. Woody says that the kettle is on lol. Where can I order the bug out, do, do bag from please: )

I would take some fresh brown bread and toast it. Then add herb / garlic butter. For the sweet I would take crepes (very flat pancakes, warm them, add nutella and roll them up. Add rasped coconut or even rasped almond, if you like.
