Good review Mike. You should hire that commentator for any future review videos you make. Loads of humourOn a more serious note. The Hairy Hobit may need assistance pulling his pants down if he just finished digging a Latrine hole He may have waited a tad too long to start digging that hole after using the firesteal to spark that arm hair after he used the SHAX to chop his wood and the knife to prepare his tinder after killing Zombies. So the assistance he would get with attaching into his belt may prove to be a Welcome feature. Don't forget that the opener will aid him in opening that much deserved Beer afterwards while he relaxes around the fire waiting for and keeping watch for the Zombie Apocalypse Cheers buddy

Zombie killing shovel. Seriously. Know your market. But. this shovel is bad ass. I've tested this shovel for over a year. Camping, (summer and winter) fire starting, hiking, concrete work, (breaking 100% compacted sand and road crush) this is one tuff sob of a shovel. Double up on the extension kits for more storage space, more leverage. Doubles as a short spear shaft you can mount the knife on or a spear tip. Don't bother using it as an axe. Once you break ground in a rocky area it's useless unless you have a stone or file and time.

If you're serious about shovels you say add this extra bit I say buy a proper shovel, or better still buy a good quality digging spade, (or even a cheep spade will be at least 10x better than any foldy up stuff ) it'll probably last a lifetime ( you probably got a better saw, a better knife, a better axe & fire steel) Jack of all trades in all that. But to be fair it was a entertaining video.

I bought this months ago and have been using it to dig out citrus trees and planting new plants in the back yard. It's a great shovel, and works even better sharpened with a file and with handle extensions to make it longer. One gripe is that I often have to tighten the grip as it'll sometimes unscrews. It doesn't stop the work flow, so don't let that stop you from buying this shovel.

Good video. Good gadge (gadget) bit of fun. Using this type of entrenching tool for real sustained digging can really show you where the weak points are on one. They are pretty good though. Where the handle meets the blade is important plus the handle itself. I've replaced a handle before. Obviously those foam hand protectors are aimed at light use.

When I was lookin for a general purpose bushcraftin tool. I ran across that very shovel and thought seriously about gettin it. Only reason I didnt was that I already had the tools included in the handle as part of my EDC. I decided to go with the bear grylls survival hatchet instead. I believe that price was also a factor.

The saw blade is so small that you would save more energy just snapping the branch in half. Anything small enough for it to cut is small enough to be easily snapped over your knee. It is, however good for trap making and carving notches for building shelter.

If Ya gotta make a Living, You might as Do it Well. Perfect Advertisement Mike. Made me smile and actually watch a commercial while enjoying the experience. LOL. Cheeky Monkey BTW. Sharp edge is better used for chopping small roots while digging. ;)

Looks like a great shovel, not sure about depending on it as an ax, it looks like the way that it bounces off of the wood might make it a little difficult to control and result in a trip to the emergency room of a hospital.
