As a person who had to endure the never-ending security line at EIS for over 90 minutes (arrived at the airport 2. 5 hours before departure and my InterCaribbean flight to SDQ still had to wait for me and others as the security check took forever, I cannot even imagine how a 15-min connection in EIS was even possible! People argue that Caribbean Time indeed exists and to some extent it is true, but the experience at EIS was simply horrible as it turned out that a security agent was causing all the delays as she kept chastising travelers for no reason and made them wait for no reason. Lucky you Noel as InterCaribbean delivered what they promised (transporting you and your luggage all the way to ANU!

Noel you are a TRUE AVIATION NUT! I'm watching all these connections thinking. checking in/out of customs/immigration with 15 minutes Impressed they were able to process you that fast! Maybe next time spend at least a day at each location. Oh well. another great video for sure! I love the style of check in at that hotel on Antiqua. Exchange passport/credit card for a cool rum drink! Made it all worth it!

Had a week long trip to Beef Island when I was flying corporate. Was advised they were out of fuel and waiting for the fuel barge. I arrived with just enough fuel to fly to San Juan. Everyday I would call the FBO to see if the fuel had arrived. Finally on day 6 the fuel arrived and we could avoid the stop in San Juan and go direct to BDL. Enjoyed some great restaurants and drove on a lot of bad roads.

Excellent video Noel. I think InterCaribbean has better service between Antigua and Turks. cuz the flights from Antigua to Dominica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada and Guyana there are always some kinda delay or cancellation.
This is mostly because they hardly have aircraft serving these islands and the aircraft rotation scheduling falls apart when one aircraft is out of service due to maintenance.

Hey Noel, love the video as always. Is there a chance you might consider doing a 2nd AvCon in Europe I'm an Irishman and I along with the majority of Irish people are avoiding the US until AT LEAST after the Oompa-Lunatic has left the Oval Office and the majority of Europeans are in the same boat. I would absolutely love to be able to go to the event but I'm not going to risk travelling to the US.

Great video, honestly. Glad you could had a quick stop at SDQ (Santo Domingo) which is our 2nd home. One day, I'll eventually make you come to PUJ and I'll give you a tour maybe one day. Dominican Republic is amazing and you'll love it here. If you plan to come down and stay day or two, give me holla, I'll make it special for you. Glad your bag was safe all the way, that was nuts!

Antigua (Antigah) is absolutely awesome. My first cruise ever (1994) left from there. I still remember their local beer: Wadadli, a lager. Really good! It was difficult to find on my last cruise there though (2015.
Interesting that most flights weren't full which makes one think about financial viability. Also, the Caribbean runs on rum punch (parts of it anyway.

Island hopping is good now. back in the days of LIAT, a pilot had a simple run to make from Trinidad to Barbados to St. Vincent and he was instead sent to Guyana and then back to Trinidad.
He got mad and flew himself home to St Vincent with a plane full of passengers and just dipped. left a plane full of passengers on the runway with no pilot.

To be fair Noel, the airports may have been chaotic, but the airline was not. It got you everywhere you needed to go and even got you to your final destination on time. So kudos to the airline and I think you need to change your heading from the Caribbean's most chaotic airline, to, a Caribbean airline that delivered and on time!

Thank you Noel for another entertaining view of the small airlines of the Caribbean. This was fun to watch, really enjoyed the scenery and how efficient the staff's were. They do things the Caribbean way but you do get to where you have to go, with your baggage and that is what makes a Caribbean journey so much fun.

Traveling internationally is a royal pain in the neck. Bar codes, passports, immigration. 50, 000 different bag tags, 50 different vaccines enough to kill a t rex, awful food, nasty old airplanes, hot humid old rundown airports, toxic chemical filled facemasks, violent weather. Why even bother, it's not worth it

That guy shouting out Santo Domingo took me back in time to that day when I was at the old building of Skopje Airport. It was a bus station back then. Packed inside the gate hall without any AC whatsoever, with the piled up delayed flights and the guy shouting out Budimpeshta for the flight to Budapest.

Less condescension, you are arriving and departing sovereign territories and you don't expect security checks BTW I went island hoping with LIAT Airlines back in the 70's and had a great time even sitting next to the pilot on the Montego BAY - Negril leg! But I was staying overnight on most islands!

If You Want Competition For The Most Chaotic Caribbean Airline, Try The New Haitan Airline 'Sun Rise'. Although I Believe You Won't Make Your Flight Because They'll Just Cancel/ Reschedule You Without Asking.

I've travelled much of the Caribbean and I can say that Antigua is by far my favorite. The airport is great compared to other islands (SJU even. The beaches are simply incredible. And the people are warm and friendly, Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

You had nothing good to say about the peoples in the Caribbean. Just because things don’t go the way you would have done. Btw. When you greet someone you say good morning or good day. That may have helped. Sorry we didn’t live up to your expectations.
reply

So you create all the fake drama theories like passport being taken etc but in the end your travel went pretty much to plan. Instead of being a drama queen why not simply due proper research Oh yeah, reality wouldn’t get your video viewed.

Traveling to these Caribbean islands is a one and done. Flight times, checking baggage, employees who treat you like you’ve got end stage dementia is a complete nightmare. There’s plenty of other options for sun, palm trees and beaches.
reply

Tbf, I've beem to the UK several times and you can't just walk off one plane and onto another. Contrary to popular belief, most Caribbean islands are separate nations so going through customs/immigration (as they do in the UK) is realistic.

Welcome to the Turks and Chaos.
Looks like VQ-TRS started in New Caledonia for Air Caledonie and went to the Maldives for Villa Air. That script on the emergency door looks like it's from the plane's time in the Maldives.
