OK. first things first! I have been an avid fan of your videos since the early days & I have to say that this new structure is by far the best. I know we don't get as many videos these days but the content is certainly worth the wait. Now for this episode. Bhutan has been on my bucket list for over 30 years but sadly I still have not made it to this beautiful part of the world, but hope to some day So you can imagine my excitement when I seen that this was where your new video would be. All I can say is that I loved every second of it but I really wanted it to been longer. & I was looking forward to you giving the prices for travel, accommodation, activities & events towards the end, just to give the viewer an idea of how much it would all cost. so hopefully you might add this on in your future videos.
Anyways, I hope you both had a lovely time in one of the most timeless places on this planet. Looking forward to the next episode already! All the very best from Ireland! j

Hi Jeb and Suzanne.
That is an amazing country you flew into.
Although some might see a tourist tax as a money-grabbing scheme by get-rich-quick peoples. I, personally think in such a small and beautiful country, as Butan, it is a way to protect not only the environment, but their culture, and way of life.
One only has to look at tourist traps in other countries to see how badly other countries handle tourism.
Butan, has really done it well. but that's my personal opinion.
Did either of you find the altitude caused any problems
I am surprised that you didn't need oxygen to help, although I am sure I heard Jeb huff and puff a little while he talked!
One last thing, I agree with Jeb, Suzanne really wears the local women's attire really well. as for Jeb, were you really wearing ( almost) knee-high business socks , with your outfit
Thanks for a great video, I would love to see more videos ( maybe a B roll) from this trip.
Thanks again

I love classical/traditional style buildings with a modern twist to it, more than modern style buildings. Modern style is okay, but for some reason, it hurts my eye, it hurts my brain to look at it. It's weird. Whenever I see more classical/traditional style buildings, it makes me feel more relaxed, more at eased. I'm not saying that we should get rid of electricity, computers or anything, we should still incorporate them in the building, but the way things are today, at least here in the US, everything feels so bland, cold. I don't know, just random thoughts in my head.

We took a Bhutan trip with Friendly Planet in April 2019. The tour usually has 16 guests. But for this trip, we were the only guests. So we practically had a private tour. Just the two of us with a guide and driver. We spent 2 weeks there and went to places of our choice instead of the usual tourist spots. Our guide was wonderful and even took us to visit some of his friends. I even showed our guide how to cook a Chinese eggplant dish because he said he didn’t know how to cook it. We had a wonderful time.

We visited Bhutan in 1991. At that time we were almost alone as tourists; it cost $75/day, so the cost hasn't gone up much since (but was VERY expensive at the time. We travelled all around the country, even to the far east where there were no tourist accommodations so we stayed in tents and bathed in the rivers. I probably wont return there, as it would surely be a disappointment as compared to our past visit.

how much is the measurements in centimeters, meters, kilometers, etc, so that your viewers from outside the US can understand the statistics you share that would be a welcome addition. even if as a small caption on screen while you say the measurements in feet and inches, which make little sense to a lot of us. other than that tiny detail, the video was great again. thanks for sharing.

This vid made me weep. Somehow, the spiritually powerful essence there manifested itself through this video! I don’t claim a religious deity, except, maybe reverence for the grand universe. I felt similarly visiting the Wind Caves in South Dakota. Powerful energy that creates wonder and awe. Thank you for sharing. I always look forward to your experiences.

Nice video, though abbreviated, seems like. Traveled to Bhutan in 2013 for about 10 days, so it was great to retrace some of my steps along the way through your video. Flew in via Druk Air. By the way, I don’t think that was the young King boarding the plane; that looks more like the Bhutanese Prime Minister

Hey Jeb! I know it’s crazy but here’s is a list of Southwests most major airports and that you can choose from for another hub hopping video! Baltimore, New Orleans, Nashville, Midway, Houston William P. Hobby, Las Vegas, Denver, Dallas Love Field. Give it some though, I think people would really enjoy it.

Hi Jeb and Suzanne, yet another fantastic video, it really feels like you take us along with you for the journeyNext time you are in Europe, you could try the Poshest train in Scotland, it leaves from Edinburgh and looks fabulous and I would love to see you both do a video on that journey

Jeb please come to north east India in my state Meghalaya and other neighbouring states such as Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh. our region is near Bhutan, China, Myanmar and Bangladesh. Please check just my state Meghalaya, I guarantee you, it will take you by surprise.

I first learned about Bhutan in a computer game called the Pink Panther’s Passport to Peril that was a CD rom computer game for Windows 95/98 that was released in 1996 and the music videos where the pink Panther visited was and still is amazing

Beautiful but a very short video would have loved to see more anyway it was great but I'd be on a motorised push bike, save the legs. did you acclimatise, that's a fairly high altitude to get used too esp on those hikes

There are so many places on earth I wishes to visit, but can't afford - money & time, I appreciate you two are making the trips for us, so that we can see, and imagine how it would be like if I ever make it. Thank you.

Incredible video, really enjoyed seeing such a unique location like Bhutan. I'm amazed you could fit a week of exploration into just 12 minutes! You mentioned being required to have a guide, how did you select yours

While Bhutan sells itself as a happy country, let’s not forget the very recent ethnic cleansing they did to an ethnic minority. Many Bhutanese refugees are still spread around the world including USA.

As always, another fantastic travel video. Your videos belong in schools in the geography or history category. Brings learning to life, children will tell their parents about over dinner.

I feel like this could’ve been/should’ve been a longer more detailed video but there was definitely a lot to enjoy in that video. You should make an extended directors cut.

Looks beautiful! Those that live in Colorado wouldn't have a problem with the altitude. We lived at 7500. You should try the Manitou incline sometime, it goes over 10, 000 feet
