Thailand-s Most Beautiful Lake: Mali Resort: (not sponsored) Koh Kradan - During my trip to Trang, in Southern Thailand, we decided to take a break from all the street food tours, and escaped to Koh Kradan for a couple of days. When I was researching, I came across Mali Resort, a newly opened resort, and what attracted me was that it looked like the villas were right on the beach, ultimate beach front. And it looked quiet and peaceful, and very family friendly. So I booked it for a couple nights. #Thailand #KohKradan #Island #beach We arranged the boat ride through the hotel, and it cost 1, 000 THB. The ride took about 40 minutes, and even though it was sunny, it was very windy making for rough conditions to get to the island. We got soaked, but it was all worth it when we arrived to the pristine shores of Koh Kradan (, an amazing hidden gem, paradise island in Trang, Thailand. Mali Resort in Koh Kradan was everything we were hoping for, peaceful, relaxing, great value, stunningly beautiful, sand, beach, and watersports all included. Amazing beach hotel, I would highly recommend it. Price - 3, 000 THB per night ($96. 02)

Great Video Man! I have been to Koh Kradan many times. Fist time was 31 years ago. 10 years ago it started to get out of hand how much they wan't for a wooden or bamboo bungalow! Wat was like 350-500B year before sudenly went up to 2500B. Nothing was done to the bungalows. Same Same as before. I staid camping in tent few times. Like waking up inside a sauna; -). The price in this video for that Lyxury room (3000B) I can garantie was for the first months when they opend up slowly. Later it will sky rocket to the skyes! If Not. Then some serious change in businessculture has happend to Koh Kradan. I know business there too well and seen it go up and away due to lack of customers because of the high rates. Camping is still my favourite thing to do there. Closer to the nature.

Hi Mark, I love your videos. One thing I would love to have some guidance on is what software you use to do your video editing, and how you embarked upon learning the skill. Did you attend any courses, or go to someone who taught you, or self-learn the skills. It would be a wonderful thing if you could do a complete video on video-making and video-editing. I bet that it would become one of the most visited videos coming from you. Please reply, as I am very keen (like thousands or even millions of others who want to embark upon producing their own videos, but do not know where to begin. Many thanks.

$100 a night is expensive by Thailand standards. They have beach front condos (not quite that nice, but still quite nice by most peoples' standards) for $200-300 a month. (Yes, $200 a month. One hundred dollars a night would be $3000 a month or $36, 000 a year. That's cheap by U. S. or European standards but not for Thailand. That's high end rent for the Islands down there.

Anyone interested in going to Kradan needs to bear in mind that food served in most resorts is so so and more expensive than on the mainland. Also, electricity is only available in the evening at the cheaper resorts. As Mark mentioned, this isn't a party island. One last thing, during normal times, the east facing beach gets swamped with Chinese tour boats in the afternoon.

Mark I've been following you for awhile and it's a pleasure watching you and your family and friends going different places that I probably wouldn't never be able to go. I wish I could try all those different foods but you do a great job keep up the good work my friend in Kinston NC

Been binge watching all your travels Mark but I must say, I never fully appreciated Thailand and it was not part of my go-to places. Until I watched your vlogs. So amazing-the place, the simplicity of the people, and the food! You are one amazing ambassador of Thailand.

Exactly one year ago I was there at Seven Seas Resort. It is amazing place. Btw If I remember well, I think your hotel was underconstruction.
Next to your hotel there is a Italian restaurant with really nice pizzas!
