Just imagine you don't belong to that community but still you can enter and do the services. I think it is only possible in Sikh/ Gurudwara. I am not a sikh but having a high regards from them. Having many sardar friends, they are so cool.
If you are in trouble and you can see a person with turban (obviously sardar, don't hesitate for help. You are at place, and definitely they will help you.

We had a Sikh group at our school and they served a delicious lunch for whoever wanted it every wednesday, you just had to bring your own container and boom, a delicious meal (and they were not shy with portions) it was super fun and everyone always had a good chat while we were eating as well!

India is that land where people really knows the meaning of spiritualism that its not only do ritual and practice rites but also give the service to the weak section of society. That's why in India there is a very famous quote Nar Seva Narayan Seva mean Service to Humanity is Service to God.

The Sikhs serve upto 100, 000 free meals every single day at the golden temple, Amritsar. There's no mistake with the figures, it is one hundred thousand every single day. Waheguru
reply

Fun Fact: 10K meals is considered little, when you consider that the Golden Temple in Amritsar (officially called the Sri Harmandir Sahib) feeds around 300K meals a day.

Please visit Dnyaneshwar maharaj palkhi festival in pune district in maharashtra. You will not believe management of lakhs of people without any leader during festival.

I have actually served food and washed plates and glasses in Golden Temple it's probably one of the most satisfying thing I have ever did
