I stayed at the Beach Club for a week. We ate at Cape May 3 times. When we arrived and were able to get a table for the seafood buffet and it was excellent. Snow Crabs are smaller than Dungeness. They had a lot more food than what you had. I took pictures of my plates and they did have chicken nuggets at that time. It really depends on when during the week you go. We were also on the meal plan, so it was even more worth it. The breakfast was so good and is not seafood. Mickey waffles are always awesome! The characters actually grabbed my camera and took pictures of themselves and with me. They were a hoot! I only had 1 bad meal that whole week and that was at Disney Springs.

I live right near Cape May in New Jersey. I think my least favorite thing about Disney's Epcot is the boardwalk I feel like that section is overpriced and doesn't have authentic food that you would find at the New Jersey boardwalk. Even the places to stay there are really expensive. And I guess it's because I know you can stay there for 50 or $100 in real life and have way better food than that fake invitation at Disney. So I just tend to stay away from it but that Buffet did not look like it was worth the money and I'm a seafood lover. I think there's better seafood places in Orlando that you can go to.

A few years ago we went to Cape May and my 3 year old wasn't having the best day. She said no to EVERYTHING on the buffet and was just all around not happy. The chief noticed her going around and saying no to all of the options, saw where my husband sat and, he came over to us and asked if there was anything she'd eat. She told him she wanted a hot dog and fries. Within 10 mins she had a hot dog and fries! The most expensive hot dog and fries but the fact they went above and beyond to try and make her happy was just awesome.

I live close to Cape May, my grandparents live there and I have to say Cape May the city is way better then the CM Cafe, but if you ever go to Cape May, dont go to Lobster House- its bad but all the shoobies love it, but if you want good seafood and crabs go to 2 Mile Landing or Ugly Mug or Rusty Nail. Lol sorry Cape May local here and I love it so much and Im just saying it would be very cool if they named some dishes after actual restaurants in Cape May.

Tim and Jen: No, the breakfast is not a seafood breakfast! lol. It's standard breakfast fare. But the characters are wonderful. -- Jen, it didn't look like you used a crab leg cracker which would have made it easier for you to get to the meat. Did you at least get one of the small seafood forks? -- We love going to Cape May Cafe and we eat our weight in crab! We walk in and we roll out. BTW, those dinner rolls are some of the best anywhere! Yum!

The cops should've been there to shut down that buffet, that was the real crime going on. Heather and I both looked at each other and were so happy the breakfast was not like that while we were there. I hope someone from Disney watches this and is embarrassed. Tim and Jenn, let's plan a trip up to South Jersey this summer, you guys would love the boardwalks and amusements.

I stayed at Disneys beach club resort a couple of years ago and while it was great the whole hotel smelt of fish and seafood it wasnt great. Thats also the main restaurant in the hotel (I know there are others around but thats the closest by far) and if you dont like seafood thats kinda a problem

The Cape May Cafe breakfast is amazing! It isnt a seafood centered buffet. Just a normal breakfast buffet! The characters are dressed so cute and interaction is great!

Watching you lay Jackson down in the bassinet brought back so many memories I don't think I breathed during that whole part of the video. Also, this was really helpful! I have thought about trying Cape May, but this makes me feel justified in not prioritizing it.

I've spent my whole life on the northern gulf coast in South Alabama. eating some of the best tasting seafood you can get. The seafood at cape may is not worth the cost any of the times we have gone.
