The friendly & gorgeous country of Canada is a great travel destination. There is incredible nature to see throughout the country, whether visiting the Rocky Mountains, Whale Watching by Vancouver, the red beaches of PEI, there is amazing food to be had as well from Poutine to Kraft Dinner, there are incredible dinosaur bones to entertain even the young ones. Canada is shockingly amazing for travelers and this video goes through some of the culture shocks and cultural differences and cultural fun of Canada. From the Canadianisms, to the love of all things hockey and maple syrup, here are our 10 Things That SHOCK Tourists when they visit Canada Ro: In re: #3 so true. I was born in Canada but my parents are immigrants so all my family is overseas. My cousin came a few years ago for two weeks. I live near Toronto. His plan was to rent a car and drive to Montreal (doable) but he also wanted to drive to Calgary & Vancouver I told him he better stay for more like 6 to 8 weeks then. He's used to a quick flight to Egypt for the weekend. Or a quick train ride to France or Germany etc. They were shocked how big the country actually is.

Life-long Vancouverite here. Vancouver is an awful city and decent people should never visit itbut if you do, go to the Museum of Anthropology. Its amazing. You could spend a good afternoon there.

As an American college student, I used to love going to Canada as it was friendly country with great beer, beautiful women, amazing breakfasts and desserts (esp. Chocoloate) all at affordable prices.

They must have changed it about tipping. Because the last time was there. They got paid $9. 00 to $10. 00 an hour. And if you. do tip and waitess/wanter. It means that they gave great service.
